WWE New Years Revolution Predictions/Discussions Thread - January 8, 2006

If Edge wins the IC Title, I see him keeping it till WM22 where he loses it in a ladder match against someone like Shelton or RVD. hbk91

heres who i want to win at NYR

- masters , kane or HBK

- james ( trish was held the belt for almost a year , time for a new champ)

- edge

In the elimination Chamber I think whoever enters 4th will get eliminated first, then whoever gets enters 2nd will be eliminated 3rd. I looked at the last 2 elimination chambers and that was what happened twice in a rowmaster4scorpion

Just take that theory with a grain of salt. It could happen like you predicted, but it could go any way. I want to see Angle walk out of the chamber as the WWE Champion.

Mike Chioda counted him out real fast, and so I'm assuming Angle must survive the longest grueling mintues he has to be in that Chamber. He will be first to be in the Chamber.

I think Cena is going to be second considering he didn't beat the clock, and I forgot if Masters even beat the clock as well. Did he?KevyR

I wouldn't be surprised for Cena and Angle to start.  It just wouldn't be a Cena title defense if he didn't have to "overcome the odds."

Carlito seems to scream "first man eliminated" no matter where he enters.

Something to keep an eye on is whether the order that wrestlers are introduced is the order they are released from the chambers.  That was the case for the first two, I can't speak for the third one though.

You know after talking about this upcoming ppv I am actually start to think that the EC Match will turn out pretty good.  It would be hard to beat the very 1st EC Match, but it looks like this match will turn out okay.DirtyDarren

Should everyone do well in this Chamber, this match could be MOTM! With all the hype of this match, I think it would turn out well. There is only 4 matches announce, and yet we have one week to make up the others. Someone will be eliminated before Kane enters.  Most likely, Carlito by HBK.  Kane will probably take out Masters and possibly Angle before going down.  Final two will either be Cena and either HBK or Angle, probably whichever doesn't start the match.

I honestly think this match will turn out all right.  HBK and Angle will most likely elevate their respective games, as they always do in main events.  I think Cena and Carlito will step up, too, with the opportunity and talent around them.  Masters probably won't ruin the match, but I doubt he'll add too much.  Hopefully he doesn't eliminate anyone.  Kane will be Kane,  I expect he'll throw someone through a chamber.

Well Carlito and Masters are there for a reason. They're getting pushed to the main event and in an EC Match. Maybe they will both elevate their status from the match. Who knows? I can't wait to see Carlito sell every single damn move! :lol:

Anyways, I think Angle and Cena will open up the match. Then Michaels, then Masters, then Carlito and finally Kane.

3. Kane
4. Michaels
5. Cena

But seeing how WWe works these days, they cant decide a clear winner (like that Orton and Cena match at Eddie's Tribute), so Edge might get DQ'ed or vice versa. Either way, they're gonna find a way for Flair to keep the IC Title without a pinfall or submission.

And about the EC match, There are a equal ammount of heels and babyfaces. The heels being Angle, Carlito, and Masters. and the baby faces being Cena, Michaels, and Kane. There are more experienced baby faces than experienced heels. The unexperienced heels being Carlito and Masters. So scraatch them out of winning and we have the odd man out, Angle. Angle has been going at it on John Cena ever since Chris Jericho got fired, and that was around after Summerslam. So it wouldnt make sence for HBK or Kane to win the WWE title. The final two in the chamber will be Angle and Cena. I dont really have a clear guess on this but I think the WWE will try to keep Cena with the WWE Title until sometime after Wrestlemania and retain it against Orton. Like maybe the storyline would be, if Orton defeats Cena, he would take the WWE title to SmackDown. Kinda like a SmackDown VS Raw feel.
