You and I have completely different ideas of what constitutes a disaster. A PPV with 4 or 5 from what I gather solid matches and nothing exceptionally bad hardly constitutes a disaster, IMO. Last year had two great matches and a great finish, but the rest of the show was, at best, decent or inoffensive and at worst, some of the worst TV WWE produced, particularly on PPV. Nothing says Extreme like Vickie Guerrero vs Santino in a Hog Pen Match.
Oh, WWE didn't have anybody mutilate their bodies for your pleasure. What a load of crap! Boo! I want blood!
Ugh!

Judging by your comment, obviously we have different ideas.
I'm not asking for a full blood fight that would make UFC crawl under their bed. Or Punk to be smashed on a table like Edge was 2 years ago (because that would be an unnessary deja-vu). It's just ridiculous to see this year's results. Shad/JTG was actually decent wrestling wise, but not Extreme enough. Punk/Mysterio, well, not great, but still better than Jericho/Edge (with the exception of the Springboarded CodeBreaker, that was sweet). Sheamus and Triple H, the match while it was not fully Extreme, it actually ended in the right direction. Batista and Cena. Tables were broken, chair shots, steel steps, and for what? For Cena to duck tape Batista for the win? What a finish! pfff Not even going to bother go with the Orton/Swagger match. Overall, this PPV had potential to annihilate last year's, but the ending and some match elements killed it.
Maybe I exaggerated calling this PPV a disaster. But in my book, this PPV just didn't fully live up to expectations, or its name for that matter.
