I missed Raw. I fell asleep.

However, I just watched the Cena-Rock confrontation on WWE.com, and it was f***ing great. How come we are not getting that match? I would gladly hand over my money on the power of that match alone.

Instead, we are getting the Potty Time Power Hour featuring John Cena vs. The Miz.

Oh, and you are out of your mind if you thought THAT was a heel turn.

In regards to Miz, whatever. Anyone looking at the ratings know the problems with Miz runs a lot deeper than the actions of tonight.

Just watched the Hunter-Taker segment, and while it was good, it just came across as too little, too late. A good finish, and a good start, does not make up for weeks of flat middle. I think The Dude put it best: they are having a match because they are bored.

Also, I really hated the bit about Hunter saying Taker has worked through injuries. While it was clearly intended to be a positive, and for most anybody else, it would be, here, it was a negative. A big negative. It would be fine if we were talking about Mark Calaway, because there is a lot of truth in what he said, but we are not. We are talking about The Undertaker. A character that is post to be mythical, magical, supernatural being. To me, a mythical, magical, supernatural being should not be someone that is susceptible to injuries of a ordinary mortal man. While The Undertaker character may sound silly to some folks, the bottom line is that is what his character. At least, that is what I thought his character was.

Otherwise, it does not help matters, either, that as is the case with Cena-Miz, most interesting guy in this feud is the one not having a match.

I still don't like Taker coming out to that sh***y entrance theme. It just doesn't suit his entrance.KevyR
I do not know. It's starting to grow on me, personally.

Yeah, definitely not a heel turn. Just trying to make Cena not look like a p***y and actually get a shot in on Rock.

I've liked it from the start.

No, it wasn't a heel turn. However, it wasn't not a heel turn... which makes no sense.

What it was was exactly what it needed to be, IMO. We are in one of those times where Cena being the biggest face and the biggest heel in the company at the same time is the right decision.

The Cena people can still get behind him (which is needed since the actual match is still Cena vs Miz). Cena also, although a little late, quietly upped his game on the mic here, although he's still clearly outgunned in the war of words.

The Rocky people are frothing at the mouth to see Rocky get retribution.

Wrestlemania and the coming weeks will tell the story of this moment.

They did make Cena look weak(ala heel type) having to sneak up behind the rock though.

I was at Raw last night and just thought I'd pass on some live notes. Pretty much the other person who sent in results covered the results. The live attendance was said to have been around 13,500, as there was not an empty seat in the house.

The person with the most heat was undoubtedly Vickie Guerrero. #2 was John Cena. The crowd was surprisingly about 65% adults and 35% kids (it's Chicago). They absolutely hated Cena.

After the main event dark match, the audience got a little chuckle as Edge and Rey Mysterio went over to Tony Chimmel and "beat him up".. After that, Orton, Edge, and Rey stood around signing autographs.. Cena went into the crowd.

The biggest pop of the night was a tie between Triple H and The Rock.. (Triple H was super over and the crowd hated it when the Gong interrupted him spitting his water out).

The crowd also crapped all over the NXT arm wrestling contest.. Huge "This is boring chants" erupted throughout the night.

The announcement of the Road Warriors going into the Hall of Fame was monstrous live.. I hope they caught it on TV... Chicago loves its Road Warriors.

Kane doing the trumpet dance was absolutely hilarious live and got a huge pop out of the crowd.

How? Cena, while being a bit hypocritical, defended himself and told Rock just how much he missed and respected him, but still gave Rock a piece of his mind. Then Rock says, "Yo, I'mma kick yo ass now!"

This war of words has never been about the message, it's about the delivery.

Sorry about that, Cena. I like you but my city doesn't. However, I wouldn't say that 65% of the crowd bood Cena and the 35% cheered him. There were lots of adult Cena fans who just didn't care to try and out-cheer the deafening boos, like myself. I just sat and laughed at how monstrous the heat was.

After the main event dark match, the audience got a little chuckle as Edge and Rey Mysterio went over to Tony Chimmel and "beat him up".. After that, Orton, Edge, and Rey stood around signing autographs.. Cena went into the crowd.
Blue_Shield
CM Punk also did an Earthquake splash, as well as selling a punch so hard it sent him to the outside and all the way over the announcers table. Then he ran away.

The biggest pop of the night was a tie between Triple H and The Rock.. (Triple H was super over and the crowd hated it when the Gong interrupted him spitting his water out).
Blue_Shield
Crowd didn't seem to hate that, it was mostly "Oooooh ****" which sound like boos, I guess. I actually thought HBK got a bigger pop than Triple H, and that was the biggest thing I marked for. I'd say it went like...

1) Rock
2) HBK
3) Triple H
4) Orton/Punk/Edge

Taker was over but his entrance music doesn't fit well for a pop. Punk had less people pop for him than the faces, but his fans were vocal as hell... including me. Maybe it was just my section.

Damn, I didn't get to see this RAW either.

Anyways, I love how hypocritical everyone is. Everyone found it cool when Nexus and Miz attacked people from behind week after week, and the one time Cena does it, it's bull****. Just shut up.

So you're telling me faces HAVE to be goody goodies all the way? That's not what I was taught with Austin and Rock.
