Taker has really gotten back to his earlier days, he's much more charasmatic, does jumps and stuff. He just needs to get more airtime to show his stuff.

I think it's more down to the writers giving him the Deadman gimmick again. They're trying to make it effective by only having him appear when he really needs to. It'd be more effective bringing back the Ministry of Darkness.

Yeah, and all Taker has to do is ask for another title run.

my predictions:

- D-Generation X vs. The McMahons =DX
- Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair =Mick Foley(he already lost the best of 3 so its his turn)
- Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero =DQ winner either way

 WWE booked Hogan vs Orton to be 3rd. WTF? For those of you that aren't watching, so far the best part has been a backstage promo between Booker, Sharmell, Edge, and Lita.

EDIT: Um, that match was made watchable by a Hogan acting heel, but still, like 2 weeks ago the ref ignored tatanka, but hew acknoledged Hogans foot on the rope after the match. (BTW, Orton pinned Hogan, but his foot was on the rope, ref counted to three, then restarted it, then enter Hulking Up + same 3 moves to win it. He started posing before the match ended.)

Man, that I quit match made me forget Ric was 60 something, that was f****** brutal.

Second EDIT: That Booker vs. Batista match impressed me, until the DQ. This, behind The I Quit match, has been MOTN, and in my opinion it was a four out of five. I thought it was great.

I'm sorry, but I loved the Cena/Edge match. I thought that it was MOTN, and if I would have given Booker vs. Batista a 4*, I would have given this match a 4 and 1/4 *. Not a MOTY canidate, but a great match nontheless.

Also, the way Cena was getting booed to hell in his hometown was great.

In the end, I would recommend this to you guys on DVD or "another resource", but 4/7 matches being abysmal makes this PPV an just barely above PPV. For me, the fact that the I Quit, World Hvt. and WWE Title matches were at least 4 stars saved it from Wrestlecrap. I'm just glad my brother ordered it. (I ordered Judgment Day, which was better and cost less)

What did you guys think? (And please, don't take someone elses opinion, like mine or Keller's from PWTorch, and  use it as your own. That's just lazy.)

I do not know much about Canadian fans, but when it comes to Mainstream sports fans in the US, Philly fans tend to be the most hostile

Edge Vs. Cena was a great match and I thought that Lita would have hit Edge and that would in fact put the match for Unforgivin Edge Vs. Cena with some kind of Steel Cage or some thing.

Dx Vs. The McMahons was to me the MOTN, and that I wouldn't be surprised if a Kane/Umaga fued coming up only to have it be a Triple Threat match for Johnny Nitro"s IC Title where we would see Umaga Vs. Kane Vs. Johnny Nitro.

The "I Quit" match was better than the ECW Title Match, I thought Foley would of won but it was still a good ending.

Chavo Vs. Rey Mysterio was the worst match tonight I would of rather wanted to see the Spirit Squad dancing around than this match, and I hope they never pull this or any other fued with Eddie in it, he's dead and let him R.I.P. and I mean this in the nicest way.

Hulk Hogan Vs. Randy Orton Was to be by far a ok match, and I'm fine with Hogan winning.

King Booker Vs. Batista ALL HALE KING BOOKER and is still the champ I love how this fued is going and Bastista will face King Booker again but, aty No Mercy this October.

Favorite Match: DX Vs. The McMahon.

Worst Match: Chavo Vs. Rey

YO I SAID THE SAME THING!!! It annoys the hell out of me, people are trying to be ECW fans and look cool by saying, we riot if ____ wins. It's so stupid, stop trying to be cool and something your not, you can't duplicate ECW fans PERIOD. Anyways I thought SummerSlam was awesome 8.5/10

Chavo vs Mysterio- Athletically I thought it was a pretty good match, they were pulling off some cool moves, Mysterios mask came off (even though I've seen him without it...who hasnt.). I thought it was an ok match until Vickie showed up because then I remember that it was about Eddie :roll:. All in all an ok match , not as bad as everyone says it was.

Sabu vs Big Show- Not a bad match, I love ECW rules so that's already a +. Apart from Sabus botches (he's been doing those a lot lately) it wasn't too bad. I have a question though, why didn't Big Show just set up the table, instead of putting it on the steps????

Randy Orton vs Hulk Hogan- Boring match, I thought it was pretty bad, I really don't like Hogan and he should have lost. That match got about 50% of my attention because I was eating Dominoes (PPV tradition)

Mick Foley vs Ric Flair- BRUTAL MATCH, I loved it :twisted:. My hat off to Ric Flair who surpassed my expectations in his abilities to be hardcore. That match was awesome MOTN.

DX vs McMahons- I thought this was going to be waaaaay worse but it wasn't too bad. A major plus was that Kennedy was there :D. Seeing Kennedy upgraded this match, but anyways, I new DX would win but it was looking pretty grim for them a lot of the time. Vince and Shane make a pretty good tag team......weird....

Batista vs. King........*sigh* Boooooogha- Not a bad match at all. King Booka pulled off a lot of moves I've never seen him do, as did Batista, I don't give either of them enough credit they're are pretty good in the ring, I just don't like Booker T.

Cena vs Edge- This was a surprisingly great match, I thought it would be one of the annoying predictable Cena matches with Edge trying to do his best to make it not suck. I got confused by the crowd, they started chanting Cena sucks and then 5 minutes later cheering for Cena? Stupid Bostonians. Cena and Edge's performances were great.

All in all awesome PPV, worth every penny.
