Because they could have had a nice slow few weeks build with a great PPV match. Instead they've rushed this (to my knowledge) first time match between the two and will more than likely will only get something like five minutes on the show

I think that Tonightsa show could be better then any of the other Shows before it.

I like see that WWEE is having Morrison Vs. Jericho start on a show that really needs it, and same for the Santina match too, I think the Zach Ryder Vs. Finlay match may-be slow, and the Cutting Edge with Jeff hardy could be interesting. IMO

All in all it should be better then ECW

Turk, I think your right that the Morrison/Jericho match may only get five minutes, but at least it will be a great start for thier rivalry.

Nice to see Superstars get some actual Superstars to wrestle on it after last week's Heat Jr. I'm not going to watch, but I'm almost tempted to.

If Morrison could wrestle like Shawn Michaels, then yeah, this "first time match" would be wasted, but this is just the beginning of a longer program (I hope).

The fact of the matter is that Morrison isn't a big enough star to hold off having a match with Jericho. If anything, this is the perfect way to do it. Have a couple matches that are good and gets the crowd interested and then finally have an even better match at a PPV. Even if Jericho doesn't lose to Morrison, it's kind of giving Morrison the rub and will make him come off better than when he went into this feud.

He did get some minor cheers, so I guess the crowd is slowly warming up to him. So I guess the plan is to get him to become a babyface.
