Now this is more like that, I'll be celebrating as well. Batista has gotten coutless title matches but hes an exciting and entertaining champion. Unlike Jericho whose just boring and plain and has the most annoying talent on RAW cade as his running buddy, I am NOT amused, I hope Shawn has a match with Cade tonight one on one and outside interfernce barred, or Kane vs. Cade would be even better

Part of me knew too but it still doesn't make sense why they put the belt on Jericho, I thought it was to have Michaels take it but now it looks like it is for Batista to take it.

You made a very good point in another thread about Michaels. I was surprised when I read the predictions that you picked HBK to win. You said somewhere else that a Champion has to work at all house shows, and HBK isn't up for that, as he has church to go to on Wednesday's. You seemed sure that Y2J would win.

I think Jericho having the belt was a way to end the HBK/Jericho feud, Y2J wins the belt, HBK gets a shot, and the ladder match being the final part of the feud. And this, sets up the Jericho/Batista feud. And HBK... with, who knows.

Oh, believe me, I knew Jericho was going to win but the same thing happened when Michaels faced Cena and Orton, something inside me convinced me that he would win but deeper down inside, I knew he wasn't going to.

I believe that is the true method and I actually hope Jericho keeps the belt from Batista even though we all know Batista will win the belt around Survivor Series or Armageddon time and then keep it till Wrestlemania, where he will lose it to Cena.

That really wouldn't surprise me. HBK vs Batista... is one match I would not want to see again, but that's me. I'm just happy that Cena might get another shot.
