WOTU Greatest Comic Book Hero (Talk about the winner, The Batman!)

Hello, WOTU! Welcome to the WOTU Greatest Comic Book Hero Tournamnet! I, as the biggest comic book nerd of the union have picked 75 comic heroes to be in the tournament, There will be 5 heroes to vote for at a time. Simply choose your favorite hero/heroine out of the bunch. Voting will last 1-2 days per round/block. Please, no cheating with alternate accounts.

I took it as both, the original, and Renee Montoya... Either way, keeping with the Question. Not a fan of Robin, I prefer Nightwing (Who is Dick Grayson... Yes, but most people know him as Robin, not Nightwing... Only true comic book fans know of Nightwing).

Actually, I've been reading and collecting comics since I was about 4 years old. I might not be the "biggest" in the union, but definitely a big one.

See, the things I don't like about these tournaments is how people will vote on someone based upon how popular they are, and what they've done, and so on. This is the first Robin, Dick Grayson, not the others (who are better IMO), it also isn't technically Nightwing... It's Robin. Robin (Dick Grayson) won't win the thing any ways, but there are some really good heroes in this Round. Robin is a sidekick, he isn't a hero... Nightwing is a hero. Sidekicks aren't superheroes.spideynerd3

I said comic heroes so I can put in some side kicks as well. All the round competitors are chosen at random. My personal favorite of this group is actually Robin. I probably should've put "Robin/Nightwing" and that is my fault. As for the popularity thing, I can't change that. It applies to comic character polls, contest shows with voting, and politics.

Oh I know, I'm not blaming anything you've done. Just speaking my mind. I don't classify sidekicks as superheroes, since they don't have stand alone comics and don't really think for themselves in most cases. To be honest, I would have just called Dick Grayson Nightwing, since that's what he is currently, and he is light years better as Nightwing. But what's done is done.

He wasn't Batman for that long of a time though. I did enjoy him and Damien as Batman and Robin though.

They clash too much to be a team again. Every time they've done it in the past they were always fighting. Nightwing is better on his own, and Batman should be on his own too, but instead he relies on little kids to help him out. Also, money bought all his stuff... One of the main reasons I don't like Iron Man and Batman that much, they basically say, "If you have money, you can do anything!"... Which is probably true, but still. Just my opinion.

The whole reason Bruce Wayne became Batman was to avenge his parents death... What does that teach kids? Batman is just so dark, full of rage, and overrated. I'm sorry, but it's the truth. His money also bought him everything he has, if he didn't have the money, there would be no suit, no batmobile, no bat cave, no bat gadgets, nothing. Just my opinion, but Batman is highly overrated, just like Superman, and most of the other DC Superheroes.
