As for new games, you might as well forget about it. But you will be able to find all the best games for the system as great prices.
As for everyone switching over to the 360, yeah a lot have but a lot haven't as well. The original Xbox as far as new games is off the bottom of the chart but for great games at a great price and many hours of enjoyment I still think it has a lot of life left in it.
I too bought an xbox just a week ago and like douglas said, there are a lot of great games at a very nice price so I'm buying like crazy. With the money that i would have wasted on the 360 and games of it, I bought like 25 games plus the xbox and I don't regret it.
i believe they have already stopped making games for it.
you don't have to buy an xbox360, but then again, you also don't have to play halo3, bioshock, mass effect, assassin's creed, Resident Evil 5, GTA4...and the list goes on.
if you just want cheap games, stick with the regular xbox. if you want to join the new generation of gaming, pick up a 360.
I got my Xbox 2 weeks ago dude and I can't stop playing it man sure they've stopped makin games for it but does it really matter when you got countless hours of great gameplay behind ya.....As far as the 360 goes yeah lots of people got it by now and lots haven't yet.....And that doesn't mean you MUST get a 360 and dump your litlle Xbox......So i'd say enjoy your Xbox and save $$ for the 360....
Well the original XBOX has fantastic games to be played... you can look for "best 5 XBOX games" or "your favorite game" threads or even the "reccomended games" thread and you'll find some awesome games out there to be played. Personally I'm not getting a new console for some time!
Unfortunately, Xbox is down and out but there are still tons of great games available. I had my XBOX since launch and there are still great titles I have not played!
