There should be a disk icon or something on your mini map that shows you where your save point is. It should be in your house that you were at really early in the game. Walk inside and you should be able to save.
The house you start in has a save point. Also, any houses you buy will have save points as well. Walk over the image of the diskette, and the menu to save the game should come up. It should be the same as in the other versions...
