What are the Xbox 1 games that are still popular on xbox live

i strongly disagree.

1) when you go to optimatch and disable the filters theres still only like 3 servers.

2) rainbow six 3 was NOT the origianal xbox live game. rainbowsix3 came out a year after xbox live and there were many games that had live support before rainbow.

Pretty much only halo 2 is still popular. most xbox1 games are pretty much dead. i suggest you get a 360.

I only have 3 original Xbox games (backwards compatibilty for the Xbox 360 FTW...), and as only one of them has Xbox Live on it is the original Doom 3 (the other two are Medal of Honor: Rising Sun and European Assault.

i havent played doom 3 in like 2 years but is it still dead or no?

and yeah since i had my xbox for like 2 1/2 years before i got my 360 i have like 15 xbox games and like 12 of them are backwards compatible.

ya i agree once halo 3 comes around your gonna be outta luck with your xbox.... and some people are waiting to buy a 360 until halo 3 comes out. So there goes even more gamers on the xbox

I love halo 2 but I wanted to know what else there was because Im getting a 360 soon for halo 3 and to tide my self over Im going to get live.zero030

Just get a 360 now and play Gears of War until Halo 3 comes out.Thats what alot of people are doing.

if you dont have live already, then halo 2 will amaze you.

that alone held me over for 7 months without opening my xbox disc tray once.

i played it every day on live for 2-5 hours.

I have Fightnight Round 3, and theres a few people on there, and same with Most Wanted and Doom3. Crimson Skies still has a few people, but Xbox Live on the original Xbox is pretty much dead now. I almost always just play 1 player games exclusively.

btw: when i say "a few" i mean like 3 people. You can't do anything but pick opponents at random in most games now. But Xbox Live on the original Xbox is still good for downloading the Hurricane packs for Ninja Gaiden however. Did that a month ago or something.
