5. Rechargeable battery packs...where have you been? there have been rechargeable battery packs since launch... I don't think I've ever used AA batteries on my controller... and... Kameo, Blue Dragon, Crackdown, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Viva Pinata, Too Human, and a lot more... all original IPs all published by Microsoft

[QUOTE="cobadee"]It is free to connect online and download games, you just have to pay a small fee to play against other people, which is nothing considering it is the best online multiplayer online. There is rumble in the controller, now why do we need motion sensing? Motion sensing hasn't done anything great for the PS3 yet, in fact, the games that use have no fun in the sensing. There are rechargeable battery packs. They have fixed broken 360s for free and I'm sure they have improved over the launched 360s. What's wrong with the 1 year warranty? Couldn't you say that all the next gen systems should have better first party support? At least the 360 has kick butt third party games.RedfingersThere's always an answer to any criticism, isn't there? You had your justifications, didn't you? You probably feel like your box is worth it right now, don't you? So do I. So let's bury this ridiculous nonsense.
Thats the thing... I take absolutely no offense to what you posted above. (I actually find it kind of funny because I haven't had any problems with any of the 10Â improvements you stated. My xbox 360 is 438 days old and I have had no problems, I am also more than happy to pay $4 a month for all the great things live has to offer) Whereas you have gone on a mini rampage across numerous boards. How about everyone just plays their own games on whatever console they choose and be done with it.
have a profile where u can see where players are from, age, ect, with that also limit ppl that u would want to play against
1. Free online functionality - Then Live would suck like Sony's online
2. HDMI port - Nice, but not absolutely necessary
3. Included HD-DVD drive that plays both games and movies without additional purchase price - Then they'd be no better than Sony, shoving a format down our throats. Plus you couldn't include an HD-DVD drive without being as expensive as Sony.
4. Motion sensing+rumble in controller - Motion sensing is SOOOOO overrated.
5. Rechargeable battery packs - Already have it.
6. Fixes for hardware failure concerns - They have the quieter systems now, plus the 65nm chip coming. The truth is, MS is a software company, their hardware will pale to Sony's but their software will be way better.
7. Better customer service for hardware failure reports - No personal experience here, but I've heard its not that bad.
8. Extended warranty - You can buy your own.
9. Better first-party development support - Halo 3, Viva Pinata, Gears of War, Fable 2, Perfect Dark (wait... i take that one back it was bad), plus TONS of excellent exclusives.
10. funding original IPs and development studios - That's what XNA is for, but yeah, this is something they could work on.

Free online? It is only 50 a year. You can gather a dollar a day and have that in less than 3 months... People complain about the cost of XBL but they spend like 15 or 10 a monthfor an MMO on the PC. Thats ONE GAME!SkillzLifeExactly.

Yes too 1, 2 and 3. I would like to also the ability to OPEN the cd tray with a DISK IN IT. We can only open it with the tray being empty and then being able to close it using the controler.forgotten_relicbut whats the point in that? you are going to have to get up to put another disc into the console?

Everything but #10 I understand.
The only thing I know IP as is Internet Protocol. So I have no idea what your talking about.
However for the most part I agree with everything you listed.
Microsoft lost support from Team Ninja on Ninja Gaiden 2 for using the DVD-ROM drive instead of HD-DVD or Blue-Ray.
The DVD-9 is old technology. Microsoft really screwed up.

1. I dont mind paying £0.80 per week for XBL, its ace.
2.Would be nice but not critical
3.I dont want an expensive HD player forced on me and i dont want a cheap nasty one.
4.I dont want motion sensing, id never use it and cant imagine how it would be natural in any game except maybe a driving game but id rather hadve the steering wheel.
5.It does have rechargable packs.
6.Mine got fixed ( i know it should never have broke though, its the first console ive ever had fail, ever)
7.Customer service was fine for me
8.I got a 1 year warranty as standard in the uk.
9.Like we dont have enough great titles already, this isnt a concern.
10.Devs, like any company, make there own money by selling there own quality products.
There are little tweaks that could improve on the system, but dont come here and just type the differences between the 360 and ps3, especially with your title being what it is. System wars is your home my friend.

You can do this with the xbox remote, which incedentally is usually by the tv and xbox anyway, sometime i open the tray though when im playing arcade games just for venting.
