Hi all, I am looking for a 2 player co-operative game, NOT split screen, where both players use the one big screen, one XBOX. I realise this is quite restrictive, but other than that restriction I am open to ideas. About the only game I have talked her into playing dual player in the past are the Gauntlet themed games. She does not mind shooting games, used to like a terminator shooting game in the arcades ten years ago, so anything is an option, but we must both be able to play together on the one screen, and if at all possible, co-operatively, she really does not like competitive games against humans. Her favourite game is bejewelled but that of course is a one player game. Andy

Andy,

the best games for shared co-op are the Lego games. Lego: Harry Potter, Lego Indiana Jones 1 and 2 and Lego Batman. You will have a lot of fun i promise you, as they are interesting, engaging and funny.

How do i know this? I am playing them with my girl so i know for a fact...

How about Fable 2. I know it has issues with the shared screen thing but the gameplay videos I have seen look decent.

the 360 came with a lego batman game, and it was very cool. problem was that I am hopeless at puzzle solving adventure type games so very quickly got stuck. Games like Toy Story 3 sound good, though i think the co-operative on that is split screen? Anything else similar but without split screen? Andy Don't know abything about Fable 2, I will go and have a look

She might actually like the gameplay a little bit since characters can get married in it. LOL. Serious though the gameplay with 2 players looked prettyc decent. Fable 3 is suppose to improve on the 2 player co-op gameplay.

As has been said several times already, the Lego games are great for playing with the missus. I'm playing through Lego Harry Potter with my girlfriend at the moment and have dug out the Lego Star Wars games for my PS2 for when we're done. :)

Great idea, really is an addictive game. My boyfriend and I (along with all our friends) will occasionally bring that out to play on our Friday game night. They take a while to beat 100% though.

I'm impressed just checked these games out and they are exactly what I am looking for. They all appear to have good local coop options they do not say whether the coop is split screen? Andy

no you share the same screen. when you get farther apart the game just zooms out, but to a certain point. and well thats just for lego games, marvel games. dont know about sacred or castle crushers. never played them...

but yea me and my son play the lego games all the time and we cant get enough of it. i enjoy hearing him laugh the whole time we play the game(hes 4 yrs) i mean dont get me wrong we love to play first person shooters together also, but every now and then we play the lego games alot...

While it doesn't have split-screen, try any of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games. My wife is intimidated by shooters because she's nervous about controlling the camera with the controller, etc. The PGA Tour games are simple and easy.

'Splosion Man for sure. Cooperation at its best. Always have to talk to your partner to figure out what to do, and to coordinate jumps and stuff.

I had fun playing Baldur's Gate with my wife too. It's an original xbox game, but it works well on the 360.

Don't do this to yourself. Fable 2 co-op is awful, the camera sucks, the second player is just a henchman, bleh.
