2 questions from a noob

1. Whenever i'm signed on Live or Playing some game live, my laptop internet connection is worse and gets wicked bad during COD. Is it supposed to be like that?

2. I'm currently downloading a demo and realized whenever i go and play a game, the download stops. Am i supposed to stay in the dashboard for the whole download?

yes to your first question - they're sharing a connection so this common sense

as to your second question, I believe it only stops it when you're playing online but I could be wrong - I know I've downloaded stuff while playing arcade games

it shouldn't slow it down that much

is your laptop wired or wireless?

to the first question it depends on your connection type but for most people yes (I am lucky though an with three computers running and my 360 there is no slow down or lag)

to your second question it depends on the game, most will keep downloading as long as you dont play online but others you cannot play at all.
