Delete all demos, music, pictures ect... that come pre-installed. That should free up about 2 gigs. You'll still only see about 13 or 14G out of the 20. MS reserves the the rest for future updates or what ever. It's stupid to have a 20g HDD and only have a little more than half available.

If you keep deleting games that you don't care for anymore (Or sell back to a store) then 12/11 GB is a lot. I have 11.7 GB and I've had it for over a year. Around 2 GB in games saves (mainly because of downloadable content like Gears and R6V map packs).

There's 4 game demos & a bunch of videos that you can delete to get up to 13GB.

yup, kinda shady when they advertise the 20 gb hdd, when you're only able to use less than 75% of it. i wish their HDD's weren't propietary. i want to get the 120 gb as i DL alot, but damn... so expensive... guess i have to sacrifice and move some of my data. *sigh* i'm already out of room due to DLing both the Bioshock and Stranglehold demo's (2.5 gb for just the two demo's). not complaining about the size, jus' wish i had a cheaper option to gain access to more space. don't flame me cuz i know i'm not alone. and don't tell me to purchase the hdd for 2 bills.

Does that mean that when I buy an elite I'll only have half the gigabytes or just maybe 10 gigs gone?
