So I'm thinking about picking one of these up when it comes out. I was just wondering, if I recover my gamertag or whatever on the new one, do I keep all my achievements, or do I start off back at 0?

Yep, at least I think so, as long as you recover it successfully.

On a side note, I think this is a good buy, especially if you have an older model xbox. Not only do you get a 250 gb HDD, but you also get a game and two controllers I believe! Just for $100 more!

i already preordered its a really good deal
