I hate the 360 controller sometimes. I got Pac-man CE and I swear the controls screw with me. I press up and I go down I press left and I go up. This is for both the stick and the D-pad. Who's bright idea was it to add the rounded surface to the d-pad so when you press up you go left, it never helps in any 360 game ever. *rant off*
I've only had problems with the arcade games, but the regular full priced games are perfect. So to me it's not the sticks or d-pad it's the arcade. If you always have problems then try out different controllers.
i hate the d-pad as well. when i bring up the dashboard in a game or something and try to go to my friends list i hit down and then right, but instead of going right it goes up. and in gears every now and then i'll try to select shotgun or lancer and it goes to smoke....really annoying. otherwise i dont have a problem with the controller, but the D-pad is poorly done imo. some people don't have a problem with it though. they must not of had these things happen.
Only in the Pac-man games does it get really bad for me. In CE and the original game both of them the D-pad was almost useless and the stick is not much better. I know I am not the only one with this problem, at least in these games. My friend came over and played the original Pac-man for a while and got more upset about it than I did.

Yes I did & I see no reason is even thinking about someone complaining about the controller with an arcade title, sorry didn't mean to burst you bubble.
Shouldn't the controller work with all games not just Retail titles? If they are going to let you Download games shouldn't the controller work with those games as well? At least work as well as with the retail stuff?

theres a mod you can do to fix the dpad. you just sand out the rim so the pad can move more. i agree with you so im thinking about doing it.

exactly (or do what i said) How much is the DOA stick anyways? I'd love to try it out. See if im actually better using it or not. I might buy it for VF5 and SC4... to bad VF5 wont be online :(
