360 deleting data? HELP!

When I logged into my 360 today I was restarted to the rank of private on RSV2. I still had all my weapons and it siad I had completed the story so Is it my xbox or did the makers just **** up and overlook a glitch? Help would really be appericated. thnx.

it may be a glitch in the servers.

COD4 had issues with people losing ranks. As long as you didn't play another match, and just kept refreshing the screen before joining a lobby, or restarting the game several times, it would recover and reload the correct data. Sometimes you had to wait 5-10 minutes between attempts so the server would recheck for your correct stats.

If you played a game when you were at the lower incorrect rank, then you were screwed, as there is no way to recover from that, as it saved new data.
