I'm getting a new 360 and I was curious if it's worth it to spend the extra money on the 360 Elite instead of the normal 360. I mean what are the major advantages of having the Elite? I know that the Elite can display in 1080P, but my friend has informed me that basically no games are being developed in 1080P at all. I mean, is that true? Should I just go with the normal 360?

All the 360's now play 1080P because they have HDMI. But I think the elites worth it if you want a 120GB hard drive. If not wait for the 60GB. DO NOT BUY THE 20GB, you will regret it mate.

Is that the only difference? Hard drive space? I mean is 60 GB enough, or do I need more?

Thats really the only difference, 60GB should be fine. Just buy that one when it comes out. I'm happy with my Elite 120 :)

Come this November, yes, it will be worth it because you can download your own games to your hard drive to make load times way better.

how do you know they will be WAY better. Some PS3 cames already have installs to decrease load times and it only helps a small amount. I'm not deneying it will help but until I see it for myself then I'm not going to get excited about it.

I got a 20gb, just a couple of days ago. I've been fine with the 20GB PS3 for two years, I'm sure I can cope with the 20GB on the 360. But I wanted the Elite, not because of the 120GB, but because it was black. That's the only reason.

i used to have a 20 gig hard drive. its ok if you just wanna play games and don't wanna download anything. but if you want to have a few demos, arcade games, xbox originals, or movie rentals, the 20 is too small. i upgraded to the 120 and it's nice to have all the space, but i don't think i'll ever fill it all up. the 60 gig should be the perfect size.

the 120g is great and every bit worth the money, and there are a ton of games that project in 1080p read the back of your games.

Purchased my last weekend and am very happy with knowing I own the best model avaibable, it's only 150 dollars more from the now on sale $299 20gb, and when the 60gb releases it will be back at $349 so the extra $100 to get the Elite is worth it if you ask me, plus it's black! However theres a model for everyone within a certain price range so chooose the one right for you.

Lol no it isn't. The driver is much more quieter than before and the powerbrick is alot better.
