Phantasy Star Universe: I was a HUGE fan of Phantasy Star Online (which was last gen's equivalent of Borderlands), so I was hoping for a similar experience with PSU. My god I can't believe they actually charge a monthly fee for that ass backwards piece of garbage. I thought a sequel was supposed to make improvements.

Resident Evil 5: I loved Resident Evil 4. I really couldn't get into the co-op, and the big deal breaker for me was the fact that you can't pause the game while you check out your inventory.

The Last Remnant: I tried to overlook the bland, generic story because the combat system looked interesting. But, putting a lot of combatants on the field didn't necessarily translate to deep engaging gameplay. This game turned out to be deceptively shallow with disappointingly restrictive customization options. This is the last time I buy a game just because it says Square on the cover.

I know many will probably disagree, but I thought Left 4 Dead was a terrible game. I played the single player not campaign and played with friends online and thought it was just horrible. It was one of the most basic games I have ever played.

Left 4 Dead - I just found it really generic and boring, even with friends. The gameplay got boring fast, and the guns felt like crap. Dragon Age: Origins - I just found the combat system very boring and uninteresting. I liked everything else about the game but everytime I got engaged in a fight I would simply sigh to myself and want my enemies to hurry up and drop dead. Fallout 3 - It was cool at first but my interest quickly wore off, I just didn't like the gunplay.

Forza 2.

Controls and car handling are too darn sensitive. You couldnt even graze a wall without spinning out of control or touch the dirt without coming to an almost complete stop.

I know its a sim racer, but my gosh! Other sims arnt that nitpicky.

Mass Effect. It was just so repetitive outside of the main quest. The characters and story didn't make me care either. I definately won't be buying the sequel.

Bioshock-

I guess I was just burned out on steam-punk look when I first saw it and that kept me away, then people around me kept saying it was fun so I played it. Even after a third time trying to sit down and play it, it just felt so slow.

Left 4 Dead - I grew bored of it a few hours after playing with friends. There was no variety to the game. I know everytime run through was supposed to be different, but I don't consider ammo and some zombies spawning in a few random locations to be full of variety. Did not like the game one bit.

Modern Warfare 2.

I really don't see why this game has so many people going crazy. I can only play at least 4 matches then I get bored rather quickly. I have friends online that play the game from noon till 12 am! Seriously there should be an achievement or something for that, because that's insane.

Halo 3 is another... but meh, that game's flaws I'm not even gonna bother.

Mass Effect seemed like it was gonna be so cool. I tried to get into it. I wanted to so bad. Even after hearing about the sequel and how you continue on from the first games save file. I just couldn't play it. Too much talking so bored.

Batman Dark Asylum.

I've only played the first few hours...but it's failed to grab me.

Sure, the production values are through the roof, the combat is unique and pretty well thought out and executed, and the set pieces are very well scripted....but the game seems to be lacking a flow. It's pace just goes up and down and back and forth and the combat semms to work seamlessly only when it wants to. It's....odd.

The game rocks don't get me wrong, and I'll finish it at some point, but to me it hasn't lived up to hype and the outcry from the gaming community of it's brilliance and perfection.

Oh, and although I haven't played it I'd say Borderlands. I've watched my roomates play hours and hours of that game and it just looks boring. Nothing changes, nothing happens, it's very repetitive and monotonous looking. I felt like I watching the video game equivilent of "Blah blah blah". It wanted to beas deep as Fallout in an action shooter setting and it just fell flat to me.

And I was excited for it before it released.

This for me also. I hated the save system, the health system, the controls, and the mission structure. I still want to like the game, because I can't go very long without someone saying how fun and awesome it was, but i just can't force myself to do those stupid missions.

Call of Duty 4. I got the game a few months late, after all the hype wore off. Because of that, the multiplayer never really appealed to me, and when I did play it, I did not like it that much. The fact that I didn't get to experience it in HD until an entire year after buying it was probably also a factor, believe it or not. But now that I look at my deeply-developed appreciation for Modern Warfare 2, I realize how much I would have liked Call of Duty 4, had the aforementioned factors not been so. That, and Far Cry 2. I have yet to return to that game, after briefly playing it (when I got it at release). And Guitar Hero: Metallica, I suppose. I know the game is good, but I had started playing it after not having played rhythm games for a very long time; the difficulty of the songs on Expert was really frustrating, and I did not have the patience to let my skills come back/develop. So I haven't returned to it since then.

Halo 3. Finished campaign, did some multiplayer. It was kinda fun at first, but then it got kinda boring and generic. At least I got some achievements out of it though.

Resident Evil 5: Felt like a step backwards as far as the inventory system was concerned. It was just too frustrating to handle weapons for me AND Sheva during gunfights. It's a shame, too cause I really liked the graphical presentation and intense boss fights. Prince of Persia: Beautiful game, but stopped after the first few levels because I didn't feel like I was accomplishing anything.

Tiger Woods 10. Was looking forward to it but many many different parts of the game just blows.

Oh and Cod 4 coz the spwas ridiculously short it just felt like a complete rip off.

I know its mostly a multiplayer but im not mad on mp and when the sp finished after 7hrs I felt gipped.

Armored Core 4/Chromehounds - I loved mech games as a kid, and wanted to find one that was good on XBOX 360. Couldn't get into either one of these. I guess I'll pick them up again at some point and give them another shot. I didn't think either one was really bad, but I just wasn't having much fun playing them.

Halo Wars - Graphics looked neat, and as a fan of the Halo series and an avid Starcraft player years ago, I thought this one had promise. I got four missions in, and it just seems like a chore to play through any more of it. I plan on beating it on Legendary sometime, then either selling it or giving it to someone.

I was seriously pondering finally buying Fallout 3 two days ago, but hesitated because I know how reviews tend to gloss over deal-breakers when it comes to really hyped games. Why's it on so many of u guyses lists? Don't pull any punches.

I really couldn't get into Assasins Creed. I heard so many great things about it and it was good in the beginning, but it got way to repetitive. The missions are too alike. But the second one looks like it will be amazing. They have changed so many things from the looks of the interviews on G4.

Mass Effect - didn't like the sci-fi feel, and wayyy too much talking Far Cry 2 - too much of nothing Borderlands - I loved it for the first 8 hours...then it got totally boring and repetitive. I will only play it with friends, and that's only if i'm in the mood. Prince of Persia - beautiful game. But....not enough UMPH for me.

Eternal Sonata. I really like the combat and the game is beautiful, but the story got boring rather quickly. I only made to like Chaoter 3 before I stopped playing. The story wasn't bad, but it just seemed to drag on. Maybe I spent too much time grinding and exploring so I was just out of the story too long and that's why it felt like it dragged on and took forever to make a point. I definitely want to give the game another shot though, but try and play it without as much deviation from the main plot so the story grabs my attention more and maybe I will come to love it.

I don't agree that Fallout 3 was bad, that game was epic IMO, but my answer is Gears of War 2. The orginal Gears of War was one of my favorite all-time games, then they release Gears of War 2 and I assume it will be better than the first, when in reality it has more problems than Lindsay Lohan.
