360 needs its own Super Mario Galaxy and Ratchet and Clank

I've got Ratchet and Clank F:TOD pre-ordered. The demo is awesome. Seriously people, this is why you should have multiple consoles. It's the only way you get all the games you want.

Microsoft hasn't really been focusing on platformers. Of course the only company they own that would make a platformer is Rare and they are already doing that.

All i can say is that i am happy to see an Xbox console get more RPGs and really JRPGs. SO right now i am going to say they are working at these things one step at a time.

Uuum there are other companies who make games for the 360 who HAVE designed platformors though, the main one I can think of is Ubisoft with the Prince of Persia series and now the Assassin's Creed franchise. As for games like Mario Galaxy, you need to take into consideration what the system sellins points are. Xbox and Playstation's console have both moved away from platformers and focused alot more on shooters as this is what is sellin and making them there money, where the WII consumers want more platformers and adventure style games, and therefore more are produced. It is all about supply and demand
