I sent in my 360 for repair on satuday and they got it yesterday so i check the status of my repair today and it says that they already are shipping it back, is there any particular reason why this was so fast, is it possible that they did not do anything with it and just send it back?

You don't get the same 360 back. It will have a different Serial Number and Manufactured date. Is what happened to me the TWO times I had to send my 360 in.

I've been through the process twice unfortunately. It came back within a week both times. I think they have it down to a point where if you ship an RRoD'd console, they immediately send you back an already refurbished one since they know it may take a few weeks to get the actual repairs done.

only a few reasons i can think of, one they didnt find i problem with it so they sent it back right away, they are really fast (i had the RROD and it took 2-3 weeks, not fast but i was expecting 5 so it was good) or you live really close to the repair center.

Check the serial number on the bottom back of the 360 when you get it back. I bet it will have a different serial number than the one you sent them. Instead of fixing the 360, they'll send you back a refurbished one.
