It sounds easy but she is perfect, plus really really hot (totally out of her league) it's like a sam whitwhicky/ meagan fox thing goin on. So i'll just have an affair with the xbox when i am alone :PHonest_man101

The wii idea does sound like the hit, i've seen its powers over females before, sad thing is i find wii games hollow and stale after short while. But saying hot and dumb along with smart and normal does bring back those feelings of hanging with normal female friends who i got a kick out of rather than my current gf that constantly puts me in emo rages and makes a slave while i spend my money away... It's a big effort but its a complicated thing when u think ur in love

I made sure that before I married my wife, she was into games. If you can't get your girl to get into it, then apparently she's not perfect if it's this big a deal to you. My wife was the perfect teamate for me on Rainbow Six Vegas. She always had my back and she was a hell of a shot.

Very nice, yes we have played a few games 2gether = GoW ect she does find it fun, but as do i when i become the big man who saves her and drags through every level lol. I've had an epiphany (if it's spelt like that) she was intriuged by mass effect and assassins creed lol. she even told meshe likes it shejust hates it sometimes when i wanna play a game that is annoying to watch or when she's not in the mood.Funny cos i'm always ready 4 a game but she isn't just like something else...;)

Sounds like the problem is deeper than video games, man. Sounds like you're in love with her body and she's using it against you (and not in the good way). I think you have some soul searching to do. If I were you (and I'm not), I'd save my heart, wallet, and love of video games some trouble and make myself single again. Trophy relationships are fun for a while, but in the long run, they aren't what you're looking for at all. This is one of the things that make me happy I'm not as young as I used to be.

Any girlfriend that needs to be with you 24-7 is a nightmare waiting to happen. Tell her you need some time to yourself, then play 360, hang with your friends, whatever.

However, don't be the kind of boyfriend who invites his gf over to spend time together, then ignores her to play games all day. That's also rude.

Same here...I been married now for 15 years and going strong. Me my wife and 2 boys all play games...Matter of fact my youngest boy was raised on Resident Evil and my oldest was raised on Twisted Medal. ..lol...We all game every day..

We have 16 consoles and 3 semi gaming pcs I built about 4 years ago....Get someone who is grown up enough to let you be who you are or dump them and keep looking....

you know someone is a videogame nerd if you they recommend you to tell your gf to play games with you.

anyway, just divide up your time equally, giver her attention and time, go out here and there, talk on the phone.

let her know you are playing on your time and will give her time accordingly.

If i'm in a bad mood she's just like 'Honey, why don't you go play some 360 for awhile and relax'. Or 'What do you want to do tonight? You just wanna stay home and play some games?"

Heck, I was playing Halo 3 one morning and I realized all my friends were playing COD4. She went to the store without me even noticing her leaving, lol, and she returns with COD4 in hand! She said it wasn't fair that I didn't have the game that all my friends were playing...so she bought it so I can join them.

A quick and easy solution if you want to keep both. Get her a Wii. Solved my problems.ikn3z

Nicely done. I did that about 6 months ago and now my fiance plays both. Granted, she plays Disney games (Open Season, Cars) and crap like that, but I converted her to the dark side. muhahaha!!
