Do you live together? If not then you can always say your meeting up with some friends (on xbox live, but dont tell her that).

If you live together then you shoudl have thought about that before doing so. But save your xbox, it might come in handy in a few years when you have kids.

Dump her for a gamer girl.

Iguess im lucky becausemine wasn't a Gamer when i met her and then i told her how important gaming was to me and i compared it to something really important to her. I started her off with Viva Pinata and she hasn't looked back since. She has her own Gamerprofile now and buys games on her own...to make a long story short we are currently engaged!

It sounds easy but she is perfect, plus really really hot (totally out of her league) it's like a sam whitwhicky/ meagan fox thing goin on. So i'll just have an affair with the xbox when i am alone :PHonest_man101

If i'm in a bad mood she's just like 'Honey, why don't you go play some 360 for awhile and relax'. Or 'What do you want to do tonight? You just wanna stay home and play some games?"

Heck, I was playing Halo 3 one morning and I realized all my friends were playing COD4. She went to the store without me even noticing her leaving, lol, and she returns with COD4 in hand! She said it wasn't fair that I didn't have the game that all my friends were playing...so she bought it so I can join them.

Usually I just lock my wife out of the house when she won't leave me alone. I figure if she really didn't want to freeze to death she wouldn't be talking smack about Master Chief.

this may not be helpful but here is my situation:

I have been married 30 years. I became a gamer after we were married. Gaming holds no interest for her. After several years she has come to accept it as part of my life. She got me an XBoX in 2001 for Xmas with Halo. Another factor as previously mentioned islet her choose the other activities you do. i.e. what TV or movies you watch, what activities you do.

Why not find something that you both can play?

My wife bought me my 360 this summer, and bought me a Wii last Christmas. Come to think of it, a few years back, she also bought me a Gamecube. I have the best wife ever. chefstubbies

get her hooked on WoW, that's how I get all my gaming in. The wife plays WoW and I can spend all the time I want with my 360.
