3rd person shooter

anyone know any good 3rd person shooter games

nothing tactical though, those games just arent my type, rather run into enemies and just blow them away

played gears of war, thought it was over hyped, but still a good game

lost planet with its snow made it slow.

any other recommendations for a new 360 owner

 is halo a third person or is it a first person ?

also any more games in the GOW type game, kinda like some hiding and tactics, but mostly action
