so today i sent my xbox in for the 5th repair since i've had it, and what i wonder is why microsoft won't just give me a new box instead of refurbishing it. because refurbishing it obviously doesn't work. anyways i'm sitting here wanting to play fallout 3 :( but i can't. I hate you microsoft :cry:
blah then i would have to buy a new console and games, and for some reason i just like my xbox more my brother has a ps3 i just don't know what it is. probably the fact that all of my friends have xbox live and on ps3 i don't have any friends and by all my friends i mean 30 plus people i know in real life. probably the only thing keeping me to xbox
Microsoft is cheap, they use crappy parts that cost less because they know people will buy their console anyway, which means they get more money, it's business. With all the problems with this xbox i would hope they spend more time on the next one. I've had mine repaired twice in a row. It's on it's way home now (or hopefully it's in a junk pile and they're sending me a new one). I got it fixed turned it on the next day and it broke again. Haven't had an xbox for about 2 months. I asked the microsoft support guy to put in a request for me to just send a new xbox because the last one a had repaired broke, you could just try something like that. ps3 is a better console in may ways because it has blu ray and mgs4, r2,lbg. 360 can be a beeter sytem 2 because of halo, left for dead, fable 2. also on 6th xbox that broke
You sure its well ventilated and everything? I have had mine for awhile and I leave it on nearly all day but I have only had to send it in for 1 repair.
