1. What all do I need for a wireless connection? And is there a way I pay without using a credit card?

2. I only play sports games like Madden 08, NBA 2K8, and Tiger Woods 08. Do they all have a good number of players?

Thanks in advance.

You can get the xbox wifi adaptor for around $100, (I just found used ones on amazon for around $65) it does not work that bad if you have strong signal were your xbox is (check with a laptop, if you want). You will also need a wifi router ($50+). But Ige is right, direct connect is way more stable. Wifi can drop suddenly and that will really eff-up any online game.

I have never had any issues with MS and my CC... once a year like clock work... Ige must of had a bad experience. Plus getting points is a lot easier. Im lazy so entering that long a$$ number off the pre paid card is to much of a hastle ;)

MS has my CC# so I can get MS points without going to a store to use my CC for some msPoints card or 1 yr subscription card. One time I got a 1 yr xbl card and entered it early ( before my current year was up) and MS pro rated me a return on my account for the days I didn't use. Don't let ppl that are probably using their parents CC# freak you out. Your safer having your CC# with MS then you are giving it to the cashier at the store. I don't play sports games, but xbl has the best online community over ANY platform, period! Oh, and I agree, you should run a direct connection for the best connection but the wireless adapter runs $100 and you would of coarse need a wireless modem or router.

I too gave M$ my CC and I buy my MS PTS.through XBL. I think they have a better selection of point - dollar ratio!

Best Buy:$19.99 for 1600 pts.

XBL:$25 for 2000 pts. Just my preferance, still breaks down to .0125 cents per point! -> [Don't Judge me!]

:D I don't however use it to update my XBL, I was fortunate enough to get a 12+1 mo. subscription this year again so for my 100 dollars in the last 2 years I've received 2 free months! Might not sound like allot but in my book every moment counts and if I don't have to hit the store in 09' till April in stead of February that's all the better for me
