honestly im going to generalize women right now, and ill probably eat crow for it but again, i dont care really. my past relationship was comprised of me feeling guilty for doing something i like, playing videogames because my girlfriend thought it was a waste of "time". how can someone else tell me that im wasting my time as viewed from their own perspective of what a waste of time is? to me its not a waste of time.

girls usually nail guys, in the bad way, for playing games i think because guys are so content with being isolated for the most part playing games. i personally dont need to see your face every minute of the day, or every day for that matter if things were that easy. maybe the "girlfriend" should go find a hobby or something to fulfill the waste of time she using telling others what and what not they should be doing. to me, thats a waste of time. single is the way too be. ill settle back down again one day but for now, unless she is friggin amazing according to me, not going to happen.

.....because his girlfriend was jealous of it. That's right, she actually took the 360, un-hooked it from his HDTV, and threw it out of his two-story house. And believe me people this is no joke. He called me up today and told me of what had happened. He said that she said "You play that damn thing all the time, and forget about me sometimes." I've herd of these kind of stories before (i.e. "my wife broke my 360," "girlfriend kicked my 360, and then spilt water over it"), but I always believed that they were all just lies from people who just want attention, but maybe they were true after all.

Anyways, he said that he might sue her, or call the cops, but I don't know. I feel bad for him because he just bought the damn thing, after saving and working for a couple of months, and then his sadistic girlfriend actually tossed it out!

What do you guys think he should do?

Assuming your friend isn't a liar, I would dump her. Nobody needs a crazy person like that for a girlfriend. Way too insecure. Of course, girls are much more fun that video games, and their buttons are so much better to press. So I have to wonder about your friend a little bit.

this happened to me once with my wife. First things she did was take my surround sound system a Sony, and smashed it to pieces. AThen she started bashing my Xbox 1 agaisnt the entertainment center then i interviened. Then she tried to bash my face with a glass cup and then i ducked. She then was going to throw my xbox outside and then i grabed a knife and started stabbing our $1500.00 dollar couch. She then started screaming like a maniac so i called the police so i woundn't get in trouble. Police came and she lied and said i started the whole thing. She almost got me put in jail. SO i left to my moms house and threw my wedding ring out the car window and the next day i told her we were getting a divorce. A couple days went by and things went down. We made up and she hasn't touched my games since.Dogmatic923

The state of some of these manboys amazes me, and I'm directly talking to anyone who said something similar to "IMO he deserved it" or "he probably deserved it".  Time to stop getting advice from your mothers so much.  Who really thinks the mature scenario should have went no other than:

A. If he wasn't paying enough attention to her they should have talked.  If he still did it, she should move on, they aren't compatible.
