A Gears of War rant. Just a litte venting.

its not americans ruining xboxlive its bad people... you cant assume its just one group of people. a good portion of our population comes from other countries, they just pretend to be american. not to mention most the people you play are like 12 or 13 year old kids who think swearing and trash talking is cool. but truthfully the trash talking no matter how annoying it is, its really becoming part of the game. if your not emotionally stable enough where you cant focus and play through the trash talking why play. the best you can do is not give into those people. ignore them, take your headset off, just dont complain about it to us. we all have played xboxlive before and we know how it goes. and last, leave america alone... im sure everyone is gonna say what they want about americans cause we are on a videogame forum, but in the end that is just straying away from the main point. its just creating a whole new argument that we dont need. i guess its real cool to ridicule a country who is against terrorism, but is for freedom, justice, happiness, and tolerance of all races, religions, views, and gender.

It's one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played. There are a lot of fools, though. Yesterday, I had a host calling me curse words because he wanted me to go to the other team. I gladly would have, if not for being called a female dog. I just left the lobby and played with someone else. Also, there are generally a lot of people who talk a lot of smack if you're not as good as them.

yh i often get involed in the occasional brits vs americans bashing ( purely because americans start it ) but its rather fun well because its adds a more competitive edge to the game and its funny when you get that " yo hommie bu be da dum brits f*** ...... ( it just goes on like that :lol: )haider2k786

What is it about this game? It's one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time, but half the time I join the game I get nothing but the most ignorant, ghetto, thug sounding fools in existence. I don't really care about the vernacular as much as the conduct, but the overly aggressive, rude comments just ruin the experience sometimes. Probably half or a little more than half the time people are super friendly and polite, but I just got off of a match where I heard a guy openly discussing a drug deal over a cell phone as he played the game and telling the dealer that it wasn't definate because he had to get his hands on $20 first and he was out of gas. But then my teammate killed me with friendly fire, just for the heck of it (well, you know what I really wanna say). And I was doing fine in the game. That is why I'm pissed off. My God, I see why people hate America! If the population is proportionally represented on Xbox Live, then I don't know how this country is doing as well as it is (and its not doing that well in many aspects). I'm not trying to sound snooty at all, I just really get frustrated. Xbox Live really needs a more serious complaint system, but I know there is really no solution as they are mainly concerned with the money they get from the customer. The solution is really quite simple, build a decent friends list and play in rooms that are hosted by yourself or your friends. I do that for R6V and my gaming experience is generally quite good.HilbillyRokstar

yah but the problem with that is that if you dont do anything are just there to play...u still get booted for no freakin reason. So annoying. If that person is being dumb obefore or during the game umm boot...but not before anything even happens. Hate gamers like that.

I dunno but I feel like the Rainbow six vegas crowd is a lot more ignorant and annoying then the Gears of war crowd. And don't try and bash america please. It won't get you anywhere.MuffinPunk
