Are there any role playing games on the 360 where you can summon creatures like you could in the other final fantasy games?

Oblivion lets you summon creatures for a certain duration. Other than that I can't think of any.

Great game to explore in but the story and characters aren't that great. I thought it was a good game but nothing amazing but it has to be dirt cheap by now so it's worth the money.

I completly agree with you here. I had fun exploring the world and finding new items but the main storyline was so boring that I could barely start it. I basically just became master of as many guilds as I could before I got really tired of the game.

None that I've played so far. I think Blue Dragon is kinda like that, but I've never played it so don't quote me on it. Luckily FFXIII is less than 4 months away so if you can't find anything else you won't have to wait too long to play that.

In oblivion, the conjuration spells are all about summoning creatures.

Oblivion is probably your best bet and is regarded as one of the best RPGs out there, but in my opinion exploring is the best part of it as that alone will keep you busy forever!!

Even though alot of people already said it, I'm gonna say Oblivion. They have plenty of conjuration spells for a variety of creatures. It's amazing. :]

Pretty sure you can summon crap in fable 2 as well. Oblivion is a pretty good game, but it's not for everyone... But if you like RPGs I'd say its your best bet.
