Rock Band 2 has some killer songs to drum to. It's even got some death metal and grindcore.

You can move all your songs over from Rock Band 1 to Rock Band 2 for a price. I thought that was pretty cool. do not know if Guitar Hero does this or not. I only have the newest one. I never played the drums though on Guitar Hero but enjoyed the drums on Rock Band.

Ive heard that guitar hero has some serious reliability issues. I have the rock band drums and they are awesome.

I have played both (at the convenience of the local dick smith store) and can honestly say that the guitar hero world tour drums break by the time you are onto the second chorus. In fact I had friends who bought world tour only cos the drums had cymbals (oookk...) and were telling me that they loved it, through gritted teeth. I got Rock Band 2 tho and I love it. Way better gameplay than the first one and if you download the songs from the first one it is the best of them all.

I've got both and prefer Rb2 much more, I find the charts are easier to read, they are generally more fun to play too. I tried GH: metallica and would put it last, it wasn't much fun at all, and like I said Rb charts are more fun....I noticed it lots of songs that are on both but the defining one I remember was Battery, it was SO much better on Rock Band I couldn't believe it. Another reason I say RB is the ability to add to your library with hundreds of different songs, there's something for everyone in the DLC
