Depends on the game. If there is inherent replay value (ie, an active multiplayer community), why would I stop after getting all of the achievements?facetious_caAgreed.

Agreed....achievemnts are cool "BUT" they are far from my main focus when I am playing a game.

Depends on the game. I got all 1000 in COD4 and continues to play that for a few more months. But I also got 1000 in Lost: Via Domus and stopped playing that game immediately. Depends on replay value really.
Depends on the game. Mostly, no. I don't have any completed retail games. I had 1000/1000 on Halo back in the day right after it came out and I played for a while after that.
I'm still playing Oblivion, I currently trying to fill a large display case to the brim with gems and other precious stones

well i've never got anywhere NEAR 1000 achievement points for a game. I stop playing games WAY before then. some games I just get to a point where I die all the time, or im stuck, or i just get bored (example : dead rising = horrible save feature and it gets really hard= havent played in months)
i can imagine if i actually DID get near 1000 points on 1 game, id probably be sick of it by then and it would collect dust.
halo 3 1850//1850 still playingwii60_3Actually it's 1750.But same for me.I still play Halo and most of all the games I've gotten 100% in.It just depends on the game.
If the game's good, of course not! If that were the case I would've stopped playing Modern Warfare the week I purchased it :D
Most of the games i got 1000 in, is because i like the game. If i like the game, then it doesn't matter if i have 1000 in it, i'll keep playing it. Forza 2, DiRT 2, etc.. Games like CoD4, i don't play the single player anymore. But all 1000 points are from the single player, so it shouldn't really count.
I stopped playing Fallout 3 the day I finished it. Mainly because I was tired of it for awhile, but I only had like 4 achievements to go on it. I spent a night powerleveling and looking for bobbleheads, found them all, and have yet to touch the game since.
Of course. If a game has a high replay value and you enjoy it enough to play more, not playing it again because there isnt any more achievements is silly.
I got my 1000 a while ago for Dead Space, and it seems there is nothing left on that game. I guess it really depends on multiplayer as well as general replay value.
Depends on the game.. some games you gotta beat 5+ times to get 1000/1000 and if I have done that and it's sp only chances are I won't touch it again.
well a lot of games when you get all 1000/1000 you have done everything. I got almost all in halo 3 but still played it a lot. (i have all retail just missing 2 from ODST). I got 1000/1000 in RE5 and pretty much stopped playing. i go tthe mp later on but it was awful.
