alan wake????

I played the story 3 times through.

beat it on hardest difficuly. almost 900 GS (not including the DLC) and I can't wait for the possible sequel.

I'm not a huge fan of the SP experience(in general), but Alan Wake is just a great game

was anyone fully satisfied with alan wake i mean it was fun i enjoyed it alot got really into but once i beat i completely forgot about it and didnt even bother looking in to the dlc...Killmckillerkil

I loved Alan Wake. Once I beat on normal, I beat it again on Hard or whatever difficulty is next

I enjoyed it, but took a break because it was one of the few games that actually made me jump. :P

Yeah, I did the exact same thing with Dead Space too, so I could get the achievement for using nothing but Plasma Cutter

I'm rarely fully satisfied with games I buy, there's always something that seems to hold them back. I've completed Alan Wake twice and completed The Signal last week, it's a great game, although I hoped it would be longer.

I enjoyed it, but took a break because it was one of the few games that actually made me jump. :P

I was originally very pumped up about it. I remember back in February buying Deadly Premonition, knowing that the game will be crap but will help me pass time untill Alan Wake is released. Well, i finished DP 3 times now and after playing Alan Wake once, i sold it. I cant believe DP turned out to be the better game for me...Not too long ago, actually 3 days ago, i finished Silent Hill Homecoming and guess what? It was better than Alan Wake. AW is a good game but it was lacking something, the same thing that made me keep Silent HIll and Deadly Premonition but sell Alan Wake...Good game neverthelless.

i think time is what hurt alan wake the most. they wanted to make it a sandbox game and then scrapped that and focused on the linear story. though I thought it was a good game, it wasn't the great game everyone was expecting. i haven't played through the signal yet, but i plan to this weekend. i'm looking forward to the rest of the dlc and i think if they end up making an alan wake 2, it'll be the game everyone was hoping for from the first one. i do think the whole experience was cool though, having the live action prequel to get you ready for the game and having it end right where the game begins was something new and interesting to me. anyway, those are my 2 cents.

I thought it was a very good game, very atmospheric. I really enjoyed both times I played though it. I'm sure I'll play back through it, along with the Signal again.

i think the game was great but the ending just gives you a depression,and says that wake was dead!LOL

and that all happened in another time and space.

the ending could have been a but better and could have said more about the story,but it just didnt and you have to figure out who was who and what was what.
