Okay so I got gears a little bit early for Chistmas and I absolutely hate it. It makes me feel sick playing it. It took 4 full clips of lancer to kill someone, respwn times are forever, graphics are bad and its just horrible. I cant stand it, I bought it at best buy and dont want it anymore. It turned out like assasins creedwhich i got bored with at the tutorial. Wish i would have gotten WAW.
I didn't liked the game in the beginning, but after slightly more than half way through the campaign I began to like it. I probably wont ever play it again though lol.
Of course not, but saying the graphics are bad is just silly, and no, it didn't take four magazines from a lancer to kill someone. Maybe if you miss a lot it will.
Yea, I didn't like Gears either. It's short, gameplay is simplistic and boring, too easy, limited and crappy multiplayer. It had good graphics for the time : that's it.
No, your not the only one, I am sure their are haters, I myself love the sequel, not a big fan of the first though, their is games I myself don't like, alot of people like Merceneries and I myself just can't get myself into that one, so I got no hard feelings if people don't like a game, we all have our own taste in gaming.
You are probably not the only one. I guess that was proven by some of the people that responded to your post. However, I loved the first one but I still haven't had a chance to play the second one yet.
there are some online issues that need fixed but other than that the online multiplayer is amazing unless you get into a room with a bunch of noobs which can happen alot.

Most disappointing final boss ever. When we beat it all i could think was "really? this is the end? wtf!" There was no challenge at all like there was with Raamm

i completely agree, was a huge disappointment when that final level achievement came up. i thought the final boss would at least shoot back or something
i love it, i love the feeling you get when you land an active reload, i love blind firing around corners when you have more ammo than you need (not very common but there are moments), i love it when you finish a boomer with a headshot and watch his huge head disintegrate.
Maybe you suck ballz at the game !!! The graphics in Gears 2 are the best on the X360 console to date. You must be either a harcore Halo fan or a CoD fan to not notice that.

Four clips of lancer to kill someone? Sorry junior. I don't like Gears 2 either, but if you take 4 clips to kill someone, it's not the game. You are just beyond garbage, so bad you shouldn't even be allowed to play online.
But I guess the "I should've gotten WaW" gave away that you had no skill so you need an even more nubafied game where everything is 100% accurate.

If you get bored of games at the tutorial then it sounds like you don't really give them a chance. I respect your opinion wholeheartedly, however I do not agree with the majority of the statements in there. Graphics are bad? Not really. 4 full clips of Lancer to kill someone? What, were you shooting their toes or something?
gears 2 was a huge let down, they changed to much.
and yes it does hav the best graphics ive eva seen but it still doesnt make me wanna play it

I agree with the matchmaking part. In the first gears it was a lot better for that, but now it's a bit iffy. They say they try to match you up with players of similar skill, but we got stuck on a team with the lowest ranked players versus a team where 3 of the guys had the 3 gold stars or whatever they were. Basically we got SLAUGHTERED.
it does have pretty bad graphics even when I installed it to my hard drive. I love UT and everything but they havent made a good game since 2003. their new engine is crap and the lighting is bad. The game to date with the best graphics is probably Far Cry 2.
It's all in the taste but 4 clips?really? anyway like you, I didnt find assassins creed to be worth playing,you jump around then go get you info,then the hit then the games moves foward and it gets boring after a while.
Loved the first one, single player and multiplayer. I liked the single player of the second one, but the multiplayer i god awful. I still looks great though. Too bad I never play it.
I don't like it but every game is disliked by people. No game in existance is liked by everyone. Even your favorite game is hated by people.craigalan23

It is an ok game, but it is overrated. I bought the first one, and it is ok. I might buy the secound one, but their are so many other good games out right now, I might just wait till the summer so I can play it with my brother.

You can say you do not like the artistic design, but saying the graphics are bad is crossing the line, especially since the unreal engine produces some of the most graphically sound games in the industry. And just look at Gears it is top of its class graphically even if you do not like the game.
