Am I the only person who doesn't like Gears?

ur critizism isnt acurate at all; u can kill any1 with half clip if ur aim is good enough, some bullets on the face will drop the enemy down, i think the campaign is good, except 4 the last boss, i agree with multiplayer, the matchmaking is awful, but the game is pretty good; personally i liked it a lot

Okay so I got gears a little bit early for Chistmas and I absolutely hate it. It makes me feel sick playing it. It took 4 full clips of lancer to kill someone, respwn times are forever, graphics are bad and its just horrible. I cant stand it, I bought it at best buy and dont want it anymore. It turned out like assasins creedwhich i got bored with at the tutorial. Wish i would have gotten WAW.somegtalover

by any standards the graphics are pretty good, umm what difficulty were you playing on that a guy took 4 lancer clips, there are no respawn times unless your playing guardian or meat flag ect.. if you've played CS its the same kind of one life till round is over stuff..... i think your just making up excuses cuz you dont like it. to each his own but dont put down a game with false info

i gotta say that i really loved the first Gears... But seriously for some unknown reason Gears 2 just puts me to sleep faster then nyquil and sudafed (sp?)

yes, even the Single player, Yes even Horde mode, yes even Local Co-op and Local Co-op Horde mode... just a rediculously BORING game. The main reason i really liked the first gears WAS the fact that it was so challenging... it kept you on the edge of your seat rather then the edge of falling asleep.

Epic's half assed attempt to try and make the characters and story more involved and "deep" just made it seem lightyears more forced and corny then the first game (btw Dom is by far the most annoying character in any game i have ever played, i could not care less about him as a character and hope he just gets axed entirely)

but at least Cole is still Cole and he's awesome. Don't care much for Marcus Fenix either... The typical "I'm an arrogant macho badass who doesnt take crap from no one" american hero is just getting REAL stale... but if it were a japanese game Marcus Fenix would most certainly look like a women and that's even worse.

Yeah Gears of War 2 looks good thoughgraphically, sun light and color finally. I'm really looking forward to Fable 2.

just let Kikode think what he wants i guess... no point starting an arguement with him because im tired of male characters like Marcus Fenix (yea i'm a guy, yes arrogance really pisses me off. so what?) oh and by the way i'm also strongly against the way women are portrayed in video games as most female characters in games come off as nothing but bodacious bags of meat dressed up like prostitutes. (there are exceptions mind you)

The multiplayer is pretty bad. The campaign was great but it is not a good format for multiplayer deathmatches.z3dd1cu5

I didnt like Gears1 at all (besides the coop).

Gears 2 though im loving!

I would give Gears 1 = 7.5 or 8/10 and Gears 2 = 9.5

I liked the single player of both gears of war games. The multiplayer on the first gears has a really bad community. Maybe I was just very unlucky, but every game I played was full of the worst type of gamer.

It also didn't play how you'd expect - I thought it would be team based and tactical....where as it was more people just running round with the shotgun.

The second gears seems a bit better online, but still not great.
