I believe in gaming for life. It's another form of entertainment like movies and music.MuffinPunk
Very well put. I couldn't have said it any better.

i welcome all friend requests
H. E. double hockey stick NO. I'm 39, married to a loving wife of two young boys ages 3 and 8. It's economic while at the same time fun for me. I would rather come home from work and play video games than hang out in the streets and burn unneccessary money w/ my friends. It's my outlet from the stresses of reality we live in. Mind you, I spent less than 500.00 on video game expenses in 07 and I'v played 75% of the good new games this year on the 360. If playing video games at your age causes you to worry more Mgcrider than have fun, than take up gardening to keep in w/ etiquette.
my wife and I are both hardcore gamers (I'm 28, she's 31) and plan on staying that way
I would rather play with people in the 18+ crowd - I'm not going to stereotype the younger people and say they're all annoying, because I've played with lots of them that aren't
but the majority of the time the people that irritate me online are younger, but this is in no way a 100% thing - idiocy knows no age boundaries
Hey everybody! I wanted to vent a little. I was playing COD4 and someone made the comment that if you were born before 1985, you shouldn't be playing this game. That's right, before 1985. Now I did some math, and that means if you are older than 22-23, you shouldn't be playing Call of Duty. This was frustrating, because some guys have a stereotype of adults as being losers if they play video games, but I'm 26, married, a teacher, and a home-owner. My wife even enjoys certain games on the 360, like Texas Hold 'em and Amped 3 (everyone has a favorite). So, my question is, when are you too old to enjoy games on any console, and was this guy a freaking idiot for saying what he said? Holler.mgcrider08
You are never too old for a 360.
I feel bad when I play 360 because even though I'm 17 I'm pretty popular and none of my friends play videogames(sometimes madden) So I just play Oblivion secretely. When I wanna take a break from partying I answer my cellphone and I'm like yeah that party sounds rad but I'm going out with some chicks later 2night take care man...but the truth is I'll be in the realms of Oblivion fighting to free Tamriel from the demonic forces
no your not to old, but your young mentally if you will let some kid on the other side of the world let you post something like this. no ffense, im just saying.

You are never to old to enjoy something that makes you happy,
I mean why should I stop playing video games things that make me happy because of age...Really the guy you were talking is a moron your never to old to enjoy your hobby.
Again, I wrote the question partly out of sarcasm. I know I'm not, but I just wanted to see if everyone else thought this was as stupid as I did. No offense taken.
i am 37, married, 2 kids, a firefighter. i am from the atari 2600 generation. i was only about 10 (i guess, dont really remember what age) when i got my atari 2600 and i still remember how cool "combat" "asteroids" and "adventure" were (i still have a 2600). most of those kids that got a 2600 for christmas back then are about my age now. im surprised that everyone my age isnt a gamer. i will never stop, until my health deteriorates to the point where i cant. i can only imagine what games will be like in 20 years.............
i just bought a psp too so i can play at work :)
