Yeah, they both have a good tracklist but I like Rock Band 2's selection most so therefore, Im getting it tomorrow and Ill wait till Christmas to get Gh4.
Also, Rock Band 2's boxart destroys that crappy boxart for Gh4.
I think I am going to get RB2 disc tomorrow and then get GH:WT bundle and Rock Band drums, I hate the RB guitar. As for the setlist, RB2 still dwarfs it, but they got some good stuff, and some not so good stuff. (I like MJ, but Beat It in a GH game, really?)iloverikku11
1) Gh4 has what, 2 songs over RB2? Oh yes, that matters...
2) Michael Jackson was actually good. Dont know if he should really be in a rock music game, but still...
[QUOTE="ck02623"]I think it's amazing, it's full of classics; how can you say those songs are trash?lolnades
some people tend to like the modern music. most im guessing were probably not alive when those classics even came out
I think this is exactly their problem. Us 30+ gamers think the set list is the bomb. I grew up listening to "Hot for Teacher", hell it was practically our mantra back then. Hotel California, Purple haze, The Joker and Crazy Train are going to be awsome.
It's not about what songs you like, it's about what songs are going to offer a challenge and a good experiance playing. Hell, I don't like alot of the GH3 songs, but I love playing it none the less.
But I do like most of the choices for GH:WT, I think it's going ot be an amazing balance between Vocal, Drum, Bass, and of course, Guitar songs, because as anyone with any musical knowledge can see, they deffinatly put some songs in there for every kind of player and instrument.
I'm gonna be getting GH:WT, then getting the RB2 software.
