Here's mine (a work in progress):

There's videos of it in action in my sig.

Thanks, that picture is actually a few days old, I have re-wired everything and hooked up the speakers since then but the changes were so minor it wasn't worth posting new pictures. I'll be making some bigger changes to it tomorrow and may take a new pic then. Anyone else got a racing setup to share? It doesn't have to be a triple screen rig, I just like to see how other people race.

i did have my wheel and pedals (the standard xbox360 wheel setup), but i couldnt find a good way to mount the wheel. i've been sidetracked with too many other non-steering wheel games lately. but maybe i'll try to get something going again.

edit: and oh thats a SWEET setup man! I am jealous. I cant afford that nice of a setup though. but i have a REAL car that i love to drive :-) and my brother has a brand new lancer EVO. thats fun too!

Get that wheel set up an race! As for real cars, I'm driving a Cadillac Devillle (I'm a family man now) but I've had my share of fun cars. My first car was a 1985 Foxbody Mustang, and more recently I had a 2006 Nissan 350Z. Had to get rid of it though because it was only a two seater :(

yeah i hear u man. but you shouldve got a fast family car like a CTS-v :-) and yeah i'll let u know when i get my wheel set up, i need to find some people to race 1 on 1. racing a group of people at random is kinda stupid on Forza or Project Gotham.

^^ I would LOVE a CTS-V, but it may be a little out of my reach right now :( My wife really wants either a new Charger or Camaro so our next car will be one of the two.

Love the setup, makes me wanna play Forza some more, but as for a Camaro or Charger, the Camaro drives really nice, I test drove one one day but just couldn't afford it.

I'm scared to add it all up. I've been buying stuff for it for years now a piece at a time. Probably close to $2500 now.

Yeah we're leaning toward the Camaro also. Gonna be another year before we're ready to buy it, hopefully we can find a good used one.

I had a few days off and spent some time working on my racing rig. I got my shifter mounted to the playseat. I bolted two brackets together, drilled out the wholes so a 1/4 inch bolt would fit through and bolted it all to the shifter plate. The cable that plugs into the shifter goes on the bottom of it, so I either had to create something that elevated it a couple of inches or mount it offset the way I did. I also added the seat slider to the playseat so I can get in and out a little easier. Then I got a few bed risers to elevate the table the monitors are on. I was going to build something out of wood, this was much easier and didn't cost much at all. While I had the drill out I went ahead and hard mounted the wheel. The last thing I did was hard mount the pedals to the playseat. A few more minutes with the drill and I was able to bolt the pedals to a steel plate, then bolted the plate to the playseat. Here's a video I made explaining how it all works. My triple screen Forza racing setup

Awesome set up daviwinni love it.

I would consider drilling holes in the frame to run the cables through to hide them if it was me. Would make it look much better imo.

Wish i could afford your setup though, looks real good :)

Agreed it would look way better that way. Actually I have considered it, (since the tubes are hollow and have openings at the end) but the problem for me is that the wheel stand section is two separate bars welded together. There's no easy way to drill through other than starting at the top and drilling straight down. Of course this would leave me with an extra hole on top that would need to be sealed. And the holes would need to be giant sized to accomodate the connecters on the end. I'll probably just get a nice looking cable wrap (like you would see in the engine compartment of a car, possibly silver and black braided hose) and run the along one side instead.

I made a new gameplay video of me trying to chase down M. Rossi (all assists off, except braking line, AI on hard). I starpped the camera to my forehead (lol) so you can see the rig from my perspective when racing.

The first lap is out of frame, so I recommend skipping until 1:40 or so in if you watch it.
