Yeah, I keep checking as well but that's still the only one I see. Hopefully IGN will have one soon. OXM didn't think much of it:(celtic1962
Really? What did they give it?
They gave it a 65.
"From its leaden, cheap-shots-aplenty combat to its wild-goose chase through gray, same-y hallways filled with useless, placebo doorways to a story that takes much too long to get off the ground, its entire first half feels like a death march through a clunky hot mess."
Oh well, could be that reviewer just isn't into SH type games.

Ouch, he tore into the game. Maybe its a good thing it was banned here :?
Silent Hill: Homecoming will be seen as the test of this merger between two worlds. And while I'll leave the reviewing here to my Kotaku colleagues, I've spent hours upon hours over the last few days playing it for my Variety Magazine review, and I'll just say that in my opinion, it passes the test with flying colors. Yes, Silent Hill fans, you will be happy.

That's all I can tell you, but I'm definitely getting it when it releases tomorrow.
Personally if your like myself then the reviews wont matter for the game because I have said it a few times around here but I love the Silent Hill universe there is something about the game and the mythologies of the game which draws me in. Or in other words i am the rare one who liked SH4 which has been panned by everyone:lol:alstevens83
Same here. Silent Hill has always been one of my favorite series. The games are so atmospheric, and I do love the mythology/creatures that inhabit it. Also the music is amazing, the Silent Hill soundtracks are my favorite game soundtracks by far.
And no your not alone. I enjoyed Silent Hill 4. Not as much as 2 or 3 but it was a good game IMO.

That article really gave me new hope. I've never really payed too much attention to reviews of horror games but I was dreading that Silent Hill: Homecoming would turn out badly since they switched the development teams. I can't wait, for some reason my local Gamestop doesn't have any copies yet so I've got to wait a while.
Another Gamespot user (Silent-Hal) just posted this on the General Gaming Board:

As a fan of UGO, I'm glad to see it get an A. Very good news, indeed.
