Anybody actually like the update?

I like sharp edges so i like it on a side note i wish they made video previews relevant and not just the start of the video >.>

Are you guys serious? This update rocks! Everything looks so much cleaner and everything is loading at lightning speeds! I agree the white might have been over done a bit but it still looks sleek. The dashboard has never looked better. Also have you guys gone into Zune? Again loads lightning quick. Seriously the speeds alone should make you love this update. I can't believe that some people are actually complaining. I mean what the heck were you looking for? Oh and did I mention that everything loads faster?!

like others have said theres too much white...and now i gotta update everything :evil:
Although the only good thing is the menus, they seem smooth and readable, unlike before you didnt know what was coming but there are too many squares lol

I thought this sharp edge white Windows 95/97 style Dashboard theme (which hurts my eyes) was just a temporary but i guess it's officially new theme...

I think it's too white for my taste, but overall I think it's an improvement.

It seems faster, but I haven't actually timed it. It also is sleeker and I have the feeling the readability of the font is improved somehow.

im just not feelin how they stretched out tha avatars....

i think its much nicer and intuitive... was much easier for me to navigate what xbox has to offer..

The update is not to bad.But i dont like how thay did netflix.I liked netflix the way it was better but with a search engin.

I felt the previous one was more lively, but this one kinda quite but I like how they are making numbers and achievements popping and some other things bigger

I do like change, WHEN it actually benefits people, but the guide menu takes twice as long to appear and vanish than it did before, scrolling through menus and the dasboard is slower and boot up is slower, so tell me, how is that a benefit?

Wow, everyone hates this for no reason. It added ESPN which is awesome and its moving much faster. Do you really care that much about how the dashboard that you look at for 5 seconds looks?

Only you Americans (and as far as I know Canadians too) got EPSN, so that's not a feature to throw at everyone, and like I said, the whole dashboard is now slower across the board, not faster, it IS a step backwards, and that's what I hate about it, the rest of the stuff that I don't like is just the icing on the cake!

And sometimes I spend quite a while on the dashboard area, listening to my music and chatting to my girlfriend on messenger, and that white they picked for the menus is really not a great idea

Although i dont really care for the new features- Kinect, Zune ESPN etc..

As long as i still have my sky player :D

I mean, it doesn't include a wealth of useful features like past updates did, but at the same time everything is more streamlined and the dashboard is quite the looker :). I'm satisfied with the update myself.

Exactly, I'll even say it reminded me of Windows 3.1. I'm guessing they had to free up some resources for kinect or something. That and to fulfill the evil in section 9 of the ToS agreement.
