I got burned out on Reach. Bad Company 2 is fun every once and a while now but I haven't felt like playing it recently. I've beaten Fallout 3 2 times (and did most of the marked sidequests) and only beat New Vegas once, but it isn't as enticing as Fallout 3. I couldn't get into Borderlands, probably since the people I play 360 with were trying to rush me through it since they were Level 50 something. NBA 2K11 is fun but I can only play 1-2 games at the most before I want to stop. I think I can only play 1 or 2 playlists on Gears 2 because of the stupid DLC restrictions, and the game itself isn't as good as Gears 1 multiplayer. COD 4 is too outdated and I played it quite a bit back in the day. Same thing goes for Halo 3.

The only thing I can think of doing is just going through my games and beating the Campaigns/Single-Player again. I just don't know if I can do it, especially with games like RDR that are so damn long and drawn-out which makes me want to just stop.

Anyone else feel like this?

Sometimes I feel this way. Usually arcade games refresh me up. Braid and LIMBO are my recommendations. Doritos Crash Course is a free arcade game that's fun to play with friends. I've also gotten addicted to Yu-Gi-Oh! :|

I'm not really into Arcade games, but Braid was actually pretty cool when I played the trial. The problem is, I barely have enough space on my old 20 GB HDD for all the game data I currently have. I don't want to get a new HDD either, as MS charges way too much for them. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I can get some new games if I wanted, I just prefer not to. I tend to only buy games with good multiplayer in them or long campaigns/single-players that have a lot of replayability (Fallout, Mass Effect, GTA, etc.) If I get a game that has a 10-15 hour single-player and that's it, I will probably not even touch it again after i complete it unless there are multiple paths you can take in the game. That's what has kind of deterred me from getting AC2 and AC Brotherhood. I'd like to get into them since so many people say they are great (and I played AC1), but there doesn't seem to be any reason to play through them again if I beat them.

That's a great suggestion though. There are some games I would want to try. I just don't feel like paying $40-60.

I'm always bored because of Engineering homework, so my Xbox hasn't gotten old for me. I'm literally 2 years behind in games, so I'm never gonna run out. I stopped caring about most multi-player games because I don't have enough time to get good at them. Go out and buy Darksiders&Bioshock&Assassin'sCreed&LANOIRE and just have some good ol' singleplayer fun.

Yeah that's true. It's just like I said, I barely have any room left on my HDD as it is for any Arcade games. Also, there aren't a whole lot of cheap regular 360 games that interest me. Maybe I'll just go to Best Buy over the weekend and check out some games to see what I can find.

Man, I knew Engineering was bad, but not that bad. I do miss those days though when I would just buy a game because it looked cool instead of worrying about whether or not it has multiplayer. Some Single-Player games are fun as hell.

I just hope the multiplayer is better than Gears 2's was. I don't know about you guys, but it wasn't that great. The only redeeming quality about it I thought was Horde mode.

I haven't really been paying much attention to it recently. I'm pretty much primarily playing on PC right now, and PS3 a little with LA Noire and Infamous 2. I still go on once in a while to talk to friends, but thats about it.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaar from it, actually I couldn't be more happy with it.

I'm replaying a lot of titles I always wanted to go for a second playthrough but never had the time (yesterday I achieve my first 1000/1000 on Darksiders, Oblivion's next). Plus I have at least 5 or 6 games I haven't played for more than half an hour waiting for me to try them aaaaaand I bought Alice MR and LA Noire yesterday on Amazon :)

The only thing that bothers me is that my 360 has been really slow lately, don't know if it's the system, the hdd or the fact that it's starting to get hot here and the 360 is on almost all day long, just in case I'm gonna back up all my game saves today before playing anything else.

I know what you mean. I've hardly used my 360 for the last couple of months. Most new releases haven't interested me, and the ones that did, like Crysis 2 and LA Noire. I ended up getting on different platforms. AC Brotherhood was the last time I spent a lot of time with my 360. The only thing you can do in this situation is either buy an XBLA game, or play through something you've already finished. I keep meaning to start my second playthroughs of Darksiders, RDR and Vanquish, but never seem to get round to it. I recently tried picking up a few cheap, older games that I'd missed. Dantes Inferno and Castlevania LOS to be exact. I didn't like either of them and plan on trading them, along with Borderlands, for Shadows of the Damned when it's released on Friday.

I never get bored of my 360 for two reasons. One, I can have fun getting achievements in games. In fact, sometimes I didn't like a game all that much when I am playing through it, but once I start going for achievements in it I find some enjoyment. Second, I have Netflix, so when I don't want to game on it I can watch movies.

Yes right now I am bored with 360. There has been no 360 exclusive this year and the other games were multipats that I got on ps3 because it had exclusive content or a better controller. 360 is becoming to kinect focused if you ask me.

I bought L.A Noire June 1st hoping that a singleplayer only game would have a lot of replay value and a fun 100% run. To my surprise I 100%'d the game in 4 days of playing and buying it.. and I even got 1000G as soon as I reached 100% too, there was absolutely nothing left to do after that you can only imagine how disappointed I was :(

So now I've hardly touched my Xbox since then. Maybe once every 4 or 5 days I'll go on Red Dead Redemption and just free roam online or play Undead Overrun, or do some split screen combat training with my brother on Black Ops when we're both bored.

I might try downloading some demos and weird looking indie games to kill time when I find myself on the Xbox again :P

TC, it sounds like you don't have the patience for games with stories. If you think RDR is "long and drawn out" then you are really missing out. There are other games out there than shooters with a 10-15 hour campaign and multiplayer. I don't get bored with my 360. There are times when I get tired of working on achievements, but I can usually always find a game to interest me.

When you are getting bored with something, you are probably doing too much. Maybe, you should get out for a while and doing something else. Periodically I get this way and then its time to get out into the fresh air.

The human mind has a great ability to adapt and when it does it says "hey, this is just the same old same old." When it does this, it's time to do something else. Take a weekend off and I bet when you come back, you'll see some of your old games in a new perspcetive.

Also, it's the time of the year when we all are looking forward to the new releases in the fall.....everyone gets a bit crazy with anticipation during this timeframe. We all get the "I can't waits". When I get this way, it's time to hit the gym or study my schoolwork. Good luck.

I feel ya on being bored. Right now I'm just sitting at home with nothing to do, yet playing my XBox sounds completely and utterly boring. I have new games, and older games that I still need to complete. But currently, none of them are holding my interest. I just want Battlefield 3 to hurry up and get here.

That isn't the problem. I have only been playing my 360 later on in the day at around 7-8 PM for a while now. I work during the day, and then at the end of it when I hop onto my 360 to relax, I find there is nothing I really want to play.

No, I do have the patience. I loved GTA 4, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegass (for the most part), Alan Wake, etc. That definitely isn't the problem. RDR had such dry and boring dialogue (which is more of the Old West setting's fault) and I really didn't appreciate playing Farmville at the end of the game. There had to have been like 2-3 times when I thought it was over, but I was wrong.

That's good to hear. So it seems more similar to Gears 1 multiplayer (which was awesome)?

TC, give Shadow Complex a try if you haven't yet. It's a couple years old and gets overlooked when people talk about 360 exclusives but it's really good. Never mind the fact that it's an arcade title, it's a full game experience.getyeryayasout

Is that the one made by Epic Games? The side-scrolling shooter?

I tried the demo for RF: Armageddon, and it felt like it could of come out on the original Xbox. I didn't really care for it. I never got into Fear 1 or 2 either, and I don't have much of an interest in the 3rd one.
