I'll be hated for this but watev... the only shooters that I'm getting (that have been anounced) are:MP3:C, killzone liberation with my psp...and that's about it...lol

I really don't think it looks good. I played the second and third Call of Duty and I though they were no skill tactical wannabe games. I have never bought a Call of Duty game because they try to be realistic, but fail miserably. Maybe Call of Duty 4 can change my mind when it comes out. We'll see.
COD has never tried to be realistic,its totally the opposite. They pride themselves in being fastpaced run and gun games. And to the topic creator; why do you care if people like the game or not? For God's sake its not even out yet. Just buy the games you want and let the rest of us enjoy our CoD ways. IW has never failed me, and Im buying it for sure as are the rest of the CoD fans.
actually it was the best showing at E3 from GS perspective but it is hard for others who watch GS and all the gaming sites to know what was going on about the game and well u have to remember it is just a showing at a expo or a convention the game is not fully ready yet.
and to the other guy.i made this topic so i can see if people liked what they were seeing of COD4.

Mkay..but you still didnt answer my question, why do you care? Some will people like it some people will not, thats just life. Isnt your own opinion on the matter enough? Do you feel the need for strangers' opinion to make up your mind on whether you will like this game? If not, then I dont see the point of this whole thread.

No actually, you're both wrong, and Sleepisawesome, you are EXTREMELY wrong. GRAW definitely did not start modern warfare shooters. Ever heard of Operation Flashpoint? And i'm sure there were even a few that came out before that! And another difference between GRAW and Cod 4 is that GRAW is a tactical shooter while COD 4 is more of a fast paced shooter (ala no cover system). Also, COD 4 is FPS, while GRAW is TPS (with the exception of the mediocre PC version).
He was being sarcastic about the started modern combat thing. Modern combat has been around forever in some of the first FPS games

What are you saying? I play ALL video games. I played WoW for 1 1/2 years, I play CoD2 Constantly, I love GTA: san andreas, Halo, Everquest, Madden, NHL, I'm pro at PGR 3, Lost Planet...blah blah you name it I play it.....not true actually I don't play those poker games.
