It's going to be amazing. The only flaws in the first one imo were those caused by the budget. I'm expecting the same basic gameplay with a much smoother experience this time around. :)

At least in MW3 your playing other people, in borderlands your playing AI, you know whats going to happen every time, must get boring quick... serious? You really think borderlands is boring but enjoy MW games?...

Yes I seriously don't get bored of playing against other humans, I will never get tired of hearing them rage.
well then stick wth your cod games, and the rest of us will enjoy the awsomness of borderlands 2. I would like to point out that borderlands is an rpg so you are constantly leveling up and getting new abilities allong with the very large and diverse amount of weaons in the game. And when you have used one character to its maximum, you can eather A. start over with that cass and choose different abilities on the skill tree, or choose a completely new class and level up their different abilities. Not to menton the Co-op aspect is actually ver... Cooperative. not to mention they make tons of DLC for the borderlands games that are actually full of content and fairly affordable.
Oh and as much as i like COD. Its all about camping and using overpowered weapons.

Extinguished 250 hours of my life in the first, so yeah. I was pretty much sold as soon as it was announced; I pre-ordered as soon as the release date was confirmed.
I think it may be all I play for at least a month. Every other release this year for me, is pretty much secondary. The new characters look cool enough that I may play all of them this time around.
I couldn't get into Borderlands, so I will pass on the sequel. To be fair, I played solo... I've heard it's a better experience to play with friends. If my buddies pick it up, I just might change my mind.

I played the original solo (wasn't in posession of a network adaptor then) and still enjoyed it immensely... and I'm not generally a fan of FPS's
The loot chests just kept me coming back, not knowing what you'd find in each chest... guess that's why I'm shelling out for the big loot chest edition this time around.
