Anyone else regret making a KINECT-ion!!!!!!!!

I think i have made a big mistake.

I bough kinect when they where rare on Amazon.com and paid a 1/3 more than i should have. If you think thats bad, i only have around a 1 1/2 feet of space to play it meaning it won't read my actions. When i am playing Kinect it keeps reading my moves wrong. I can't play in another room, because everythings in here. (shoebox).

I think its a cracking piece of kit but i am thinking of selling it for a wii fit balance board, lets just say i know someone who might swap if i throw in Black Ops and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit to sweeten the deal. Then i will be playing that all day. Never a dull....

The biggest mistake was not reading the many articles stating that Kinect needs around 6 feet of clear area to work. It says it on the Kinect box too.

And why would you trade a Kinect, that is supposedly a hot Holiday item, and CoD:BO for a wii balance board that is easily available and probably a lot cheaper?

Is that 6 square feet of area? Or is 6 feet one of the dimensions of a rectangular space?
