ya it probably will. atleast for me. i like teamwork aspect of bf that u need the team to work together to win. instead of mw where u can just have one guy raping everyone sitting in a corner and win the game. i hope this bf is more like the pc versions

In my opinion Bad Company 2 will **** stomp MW2 in terms of quality and fun factor. It doesn't have the hype machine like MW2 to make it sell a ton of copies but that's okay. Also, at least DICE was smart enough to have a beta unlike IW who got cocky and released and unbalanced piece of crap.

They are two really different games I think. MW2 is more arcadish, its settings and campaign is more about looking cool. Multiplayer is fun, and quick. Its like a snack, its fast, addicting, it has strong taste, but its small. BC 2 in another hand is like a regular meal, big, really fill you up, but not as tasty as snacks. Battlefield BC 2 requires more tactics, and its massive maps needs a lot of teamwork which is also about realism, its makes me feel much more rewarding in the long run.

One of the best things about the Bad Company series of games is that you don't need a vehicle to be effective. In Bad Company one I rarely ever used a vehicle unless I needed a ride across the map. It's usually better to let your teammates distract the opponents with a vehicle so you can sneak into the target. Bad Company's multiplayer never required the use of a vehicle to win and from what I've gathered from the beta Bad Company 2 will not either.

I played the demo on PS3, its very true, getting in vehicle doesn't mean win, getting in the vehicle doesn't mean get a lot of kill, it serve as a distraction and/or a protection and lead with the rest of the infantry team. Sniper is still my favorite, it just feel so superior to shoot from 3 miles away, headshot someone while he was running and after gavity. Getting a ride in all Battlefield games is just so funny, those who never experience it have no idea.

No way BC2 is going to kill MW2. Some people may prefer it, but the Call of Duty games are huge.

I also don't really care for vehicle games. I don't like to be in them and then I just end up getting killed by them.

I was always a sniper in Bad Company 1 and I intend to do the same in 2. I hope they add more weapons though. The beta only had the guns from the previous game. Hopefully the final game will have more.

Somebody made a thread like this is in 2007...only it was asking whether or not Bad Company 1 would beat COD 4...we all know how that turned out lol. I'm getting Bad Company 2, but I'm not expecting it to trump MW2 in 2010, MW2 is the posterboy for XBOX Live.

Meh...the games gonna get boring quick IMO no customizable classes, kill streaks, perks, camos etc...IS IT EVEN GONNA HAVE SPLITSCREEN, LOCAL/OFFLINE MULTIPLAYER, SYSTEM LINK, CO-OP EVEN ?

I mean I wanna be able to play the game with my ACTUAL friends in the SAME room lol. COD and Halo has it, why doesn't Bad Company ?

The classes are somewhat customizable this time around. A certain class is not locked to one type of primary weapon anymore and from the looks of it there will be multiple pieces of equipment for each class. There are also scopes that can be unlocked for the various weapons. This is only from the beat so there could be even more in the final version.

MW2. Cause with all the popularity and multiplayer is pretty much the highlight of MW2, IW really has to deliver. Plus I've already played it and it's amazing. Whether if it's split-screen or online.

How many sniper rifles were there in the beta? Like 4 or something? My only problem with BC2 is you NEED to put 2 shots, or a headshot to kill a guy. Its SO hard to headshot from far far away, its rewarding though but rarely. I only play Bolt shot, and i really like that you have to shoot, then manually zoom out to change shell for the next shot

Although Battlefield: Bad Company 2 won't top Modern Warfare 2 in terms of sales, I'm certain it's going to be much better. MW2 is a broken game no matter how fun it is, and most gamers would agree. You know there's something wrong with a game when the person who stays in one place the whole game has the highest score while those that were actually braving the actual combat have more deaths than kills. Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 remind me a lot of Halo 2 and Halo 3 in that Halo 2 required a lot more skill than Halo 3 does in order to succeed.

that Battlefield Bad Company 2 is going to kill MW2 when it arrives in Spring? I do. I persoanlly prefer the Battlefield formula instead of MW2's perk driven system. I have no problems with unlocks and such, but C'mon? In MW2 we now have these idiots running around with Marathon, Lightweight and Commando with Tactical Knife and Magnum just murdering everyone and of course the 1887's still rule the roost as well!! I cant wait for BFBC2 so I can destroy that wall that the pain in @#*^% Sniper has been hiding behind!!!

Indeed MW2 doesnt feel like a shooter anymore.
Too many people using shotguns which can be used as snipers in this game, or they are just running around and kniving everyone and they are freaking fast!
For me MW2 multiplayer failed hard and i dont understand why so many people still playing it, they campaign on the other hand was the best in the COD Series till now.
My expections for BF BC2 multiplayer are high, the singeplayer wasnt that good in the 1st edition so i hope they have improved it so:

Multiplayer: BF BC2
Singleplayer: MW2

This is awkard because so many people are saying this, and I agree as well the campaign and spec-ops (which are supposed to the "add-ons" for this game seem to be more polished and finished than the actual multiplayer, which is what COD is known for. I don't really play the online that much because I got to 70, after that I felt no reason to continue playing.

I agree with this statement as i prefer to pull out my machine gun and 'get stuck in' but everytime it comes to kill cam it is always some sniper hidden ontop of a building or a camper lying in a back corner of an allley.... people need to grow some balls and stop being 'scared' to die in games... ON TOPIC At the moment my vote is with mw2, this is only because i have had a hands on experience with the game. I havent played the BFBC2 demo but i will if it is still available as i feel that the maps on mw2 do not live up to the hype... then again neither does the campaign, missions seem too trivial and random imo...

All the weapons from Bad Company 1 were in the beta if I remember correctly. My buddy has a PS3 and I convinced him to get the beta.
