Anyone else worry about the frame rate in HL 2?

HL 2 on the xbox had bad frame rate. i really hope thats not the case with the 360 version cause i really look forward to the game. thoughts?

I doubt there will be issues with the frame rate. The reason the Xobx had issues was likely due to sub par hardware and the 360 should be more than capable of handling it.Large_Soda

i dont doubt the power of the 360 but rather whether or not the developers take the time to make the game work on the console.

I highly doubt it. The xbox was in its final stretch when HL2 came out and really had no place trying to run that game. It was just a money grabdirected towards the FPS hungry xbox fans. That version of thegame stunk. I never made it even half way through.

Just this weekI started playing it on my new computer andas most ofyou probably know, it fricken rocks! I think it could verywell be my favorite game ofall time. I can't wait to play the new chapterson my360.

Yup, on the PC, playing through it just recently again, I believe its not only the best shooter ever made, but perhaps one of the best games ever made.

HL2 on the xbox had bad framerate because it was a port of a technically groundbreaking 2004 pc title,but they did do a gr8 job with the xbox port (considering the xbox's weak hardware,compared to a 2004 pc).

Besides if you've watched any of the HL2 360 vids you'll know that it will runs as smooth as butter,while looking as good as max settings on a pc.
