Anyone think halo 3 should get best multiplayer over COD4 thread!

Do you have an hd tv...well if not your comment might make a little sense...but if you do put in halo 2 and just compare the graphics in both games...halo 3 is amazing compared to halo 2...often we do not recognize the significant difference in games when we have not played the previous one in a long while...obviously halo 3 is similar to halo 2, bc it is supposed to be similar, they are the same games. COD4 is similar to COD2 and COD4...its FPS, with a little better graphics, and the only real difference is it takes place in a different time period. If halo 3 took place in a different time period than halo 2 it would not make sense. Halo 3 has upgrades from halo 2, which make it better, but if it is drastically differnt there would be problems. New weapons, maps, features such as forge, and far superior graphics are all anyone should have expected with halo 3 and if you were expecting more than you are just flat out stupid

He was talking about gameplay, not graphics. Halo3 graphics were not that great, they were only at 640p.

actually i am not halo nub, and have not played halo in probably over a month. I am just saying which is a better game, and i feel halo requires a lot more skill. I played halo 2 for countless hours, and when halo 3 came out i played it a lot. I was pretty good considering i got up to a level 47 playin on my own with random ppl for the most part. There have been games in halo 3 where i have dominated far less superior players, and games where i have got completely picked apart by people playing as a team and who have amazing skill, with head shots. In COD4 and with all COD games i have noticed that I have never been dominated by players like i have in halo. The difference between a great COD player and an ordinary player is not much, whereas in halo a superior player will dominate you all the time. You may get a lucky kill from time to time, but not as much as you do in COD

I dominated in it alot of times but i styll think halo deserves it more...
COD4 matters about the gun not the gamer..

like the p90 and g36c are like monsters in that game in which halo has an equal amount of skill per gun...

GRAW switched from first person to third person when they moved to next gen, and please tell me what they really did to halo that changed it drastically from the first one to the second one to the third one? they just put a new shine on the same old stuff theres no class system on halo, and play is pretty shallow

It's hard to tell the difference from a good gamer and a bad gamer on halo unless they are sniping. I guess it is because it's all about who can melee quicker.

The only halo that takes no skill is halo2 it auto aim is retardly high compared to the others.

But halo seems like it takes no skill because we have all played it alot.

What?!?! The Rocket takes just as much skills as a sniper? Also it just depends how you use your guns in CoD4 because you're not going to try to snipe with a shot gun are you? Just like you're not going to rush in with a sniper also.

nope yer the one who needs yer facts here halo 1 dosen't require any skill and the netcode thing is so broken online for the PC version it lags so much that you can empty a whole 120 bullets into yer enemy and then he turns around and shoots you 40 times and you die and its all the games I join that do this even the ones with low ping

Gaylo is by far the worst game of the two games... Halo 3 is just halo 2 with a better graphics system... Call of duty 4 will be what every other FPS dreams to become for years to come look for rainbow six vegas 2 to copy everything that call of duty 4 did but change the name of it.

thats where your wrong....i never experience lag except for when the ping is high, that is not the fault of the game, its the fault of the internet connection either you or someone else has...as far as im concerened i pull off those 3 shot kills with the pistol with relative ease, and i use the 360 controller so theres no aim assist there..if there was lag then this wudnt be possible....and you dont need to empty that many bullets into a player, you obviouslky lack skill...im gueswsing you lose eash and every match......am i correct...?..oh your computer may be an issue too, since the performance is not so great with the halo pc version..you need a good computer for that even if you meet the requirements......also have you ever tried playin halo 1 online with xboxconnect on the 360..thers no lag there, and if youre so skilled then you shud try owning in that...i rest my case now.....unless you play halo 1 on xboxconnect and pc live , dont comment acting like you know stuff....

nope yer the one who needs yer facts here halo 1 dosen't require any skill and the netcode thing is so broken online for the PC version it lags so much that you can empty a whole 120 bullets into yer enemy and then he turns around and shoots you 40 times and you die and its all the games I join that do this even the ones with low ping

thats where your wrong....i never experience lag except for when the ping is high, that is not the fault of the game, its the fault of the internet connection either you or someone else has...as far as im concerened i pull off those 3 shot kills with the pistol with relative ease, and i use the 360 controller so theres no aim assist there..if there was lag then this wudnt be possible....and you dont need to empty that many bullets into a player, you obviouslky lack skill...im gueswsing you lose eash and every match......am i correct...?..oh your computer may be an issue too, since the performance is not so great with the halo pc version..you need a good computer for that even if you meet the requirements......also have you ever tried playin halo 1 online with xboxconnect on the 360..thers no lag there, and if youre so skilled then you shud try owning in that...i rest my case now.....unless you play halo 1 on xboxconnect and pc live , dont comment acting like you know stuff....

Halo 2.5 is the same game I got sick of 4 years ago, plus a few new weapons/vehicles.

COD is way better.

actually i am not halo nub, and have not played halo in probably over a month. I am just saying which is a better game, and i feel halo requires a lot more skill. I played halo 2 for countless hours, and when halo 3 came out i played it a lot. I was pretty good considering i got up to a level 47 playin on my own with random ppl for the most part. There have been games in halo 3 where i have dominated far less superior players, and games where i have got completely picked apart by people playing as a team and who have amazing skill, with head shots. In COD4 and with all COD games i have noticed that I have never been dominated by players like i have in halo. The difference between a great COD player and an ordinary player is not much, whereas in halo a superior player will dominate you all the time. You may get a lucky kill from time to time, but not as much as you do in COD

its my opinion that it requires more skill, as anyone who like 1 game over the other would say...you dislike halo 3 so you think COD takes more skill...whereas I like halo more and think it requires more skill...obviously you are in denial and think you are good at a game that requires no skill, but you try and convince yourself that it does...JK

Halo 3 SP=10/10

Halo3 SP, was IMO the best SP adventure of the year! I like the Brute Chopper and all the other new gadgets and the sense of scale I get when I take down a tremendous enemy such as the scarabs or brutes.They still don't have a cover system though, but Halo is one of those games that is better without one. And four player Co-op kicks butt! Oh and people keep saying Halo has bad graphics! This game has basic character models, but the enviorments are outstanding!

Call of Duty 4 SP=9/10

This game had the funnest/difficult firefight in game history! But this game isn't really that different from other FPS in terms of weapon types, and mission types. But I can't knock this against them as they can only do so much with this timeline (unlike Halo which is like year 2500 or something) It does have good graphics, and great sound, and a nice game length. But I felt like SP is only the Training Ground for MP

Halo MP=9/10

Halo's MP is basically just a mindless shootout that, strangely, requires skill. For instance in Halo 2 circle strafing owned. Now, that will get you killed, and is rarely seen. Instead people are more sneaky and ten times the sniperish (is that a word?) But, it still is basically a bit mindless, but thanks to less ammo, people may be compelled to shoot accurately

Call of Duty MP 7/10

I'm giving this a 7/10, because there aren't really any new game mode types. And this actually would've been a 9/10 like Halo, but I saw so much circle strafing and dashing straight across a battefield to get to a piece of cover closer to your enemy and nearly no teamwork. In Halo there was strategic flanking and trapping but COD4 people find it necessary to kill you in your face.

Overall IMO, Halo beats COD4. This is my opinion, and yes, I have a Halo pic. Sue me.

So I've played until I got to a Commander Rank........and when I switched over to COD4 I came in the top 3 for most of my games? I don't think that counts as slaughter.....Shoot and whack? I could claim that COD4 is a camp and wait war but I have no evidence, same as the so called shoot and whack theory........btw as indicated before I have played both and imo....Halo comes out as the funnest all round MP......COD4 is better suited to ppl who prefer tactical shooters to the run n gun of halo
