yeah i was not signed in when i was playing the campain. when i hit a check point it froze. i reset and went back into the game still not signed in and friends poped up but i was still not signed in..

Same here only COD 4. On the website it said some wouldhave troublelogging onto live. It also said that it would be down for maintenance early this morning (4am EST).

were you just play Single player when it happened>?
Yeah, only on single player,I didn't try online play, but I was having major trouble signing in when I turned it on , I never thought to pull the live connection, then check it.
