*sigh* The warranty is still 3 years. And as long as you don't keep it on the carpet or in a bathtub it should be fine anyway.

This is blatantly false. You can treat your 360 like your first born child and it can still get RRoD. Mine has broken twice, most recently a couple of months ago in August right before Bioshock came out, and I took phenomenal care over it. The reason Microsoft extended the warranty to three years in the first place is because they finally acknowledged that the failure rate was far above the industry norm. I applaud them for doing this, but the argument that the 360 only breaks if their owners are idiots is wrong.dude get a ps3.. 360s are crap right now.. they work for a year even less and they end up breaking. and u have to pay for live.. repair repair repair. .. there shouldnt be so many 360s on the repair center rightnow. 2 years from it release.. do whatever u want. but remember my words when ur 4th 360 breakszeroproyect360s may be made like crap, but as of right now the 360 has the best lineup of games, theres no denying that. in a couple years, the ps3 will probably be a great console with kickass games. right now its just got nothing special when it comes to games. but yeah at least ps3s arent made with cheap crappy parts like 360s are.
