I'll most definately be buying it.. I love cars & racing!
Oh, And I've got the Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel too, But I'll most likely be using the wireless controller, the most.
Well I dunno...See I have Forza 2 and it's...boring. It's not even fun to play, and all of the tracks look and feel pretty much exactly the same. But maybe I just haven't explored the game well enough, and maybe buying a wireless racing wheel for the game would improve my experience with it. The game does look nice anyway - it is probably the most realistic-looking racing series out there.

All the tracks look and feel exactly the same? You definitely haven't even scratched the surface of what Forza 2 has to offer.

See I figured as much, that's why I decided to hold onto the game. Maybe I'll fire it up this week, and sit down and explore things some.Probably not. I liked Forza 1 and 2 but I always stop playing them once I reach the point of taking notes. At that point it reminds of school work so I call it a wrap. After that i'll spend a week or two driving different cars on that Neumberg (sp) track and then I never play the game again.
I might pick it up in a couple of years when the price is like $30 new.

But yea, there's always the chance that this more sim-orientated style game isn't for some people. Of course, you dont have to be a serious racer or anything. There's lotsof drifters out there, there's the type that like doing demolition derby-style stuff, there's those who do almost nothing butpaintcars(and there's some incredible stuff out there), there's those who like drag racing, some people are just car nuts and like photographing their cars, etc etc.
If you doactually want to get into the racing, though, there is a bit of patience involved when getting better. Its definitely one of those games where the more time you put into it, the more you'll getfrom it. I've put in over 250 hours racing online and I still haven't even driven all the cars in the game, I'm still learning how to better setup my car, and I'm still constantlyfinding ways of improving my driving. That sort of thing might notbe for everybody, but it can definitely get addictive if you find you like it.
it looks Fantastic and seems to be looking up to its expectations, I might get it.. but never being a big fan of racing simulatorsi see what the reviewers and people think of it.
Probably not, I'm not huge in to racing games. I got Forza 2 with my console when I bought it in 2007 but never really bothered to play it until a week ago. I've become fairly decent at the game even if I'm still using all the assists but the game is starting to become very repetitive. Therefore, Forza 3 is definately not on my buy list.
After Forza 2, hell yeah I'm getting it. Forza 2 was the best racer I've ever played(although Gran Turismo 4 is pretty close) and Forza 3 will be even better.
Nope, after F2 I'm passing. I loved F1 but going around the same track over and over and over again gets BORING. I prefer PGR or Burnout. F2 looks terrible with boring tracks and did I mention terrible tracks. No downhill, no uphill, no nighttime, no fun.

You just don't like racing simulators.

Forza 2 was slightly lacking in tracks, but Forza 3 will have 115, so its definitely got you covered in that respect.
The graphics have also been improved immensely. This game looks as good as any other racing game out there, if not better.

you are right, after a while the tracks get old. And since there was no night or weather effects, there also wasn't a lot of excitement either. But it was still a great game. Hopefully Forza 3 will include night and weatherNope, after F2 I'm passing. I loved F1 but going around the same track over and over and over again gets BORING. I prefer PGR or Burnout.
