I'm not getting it. I thought the demo was pretty fun, but I honestly don't see my self playing that game for very long. I'll probably give it a rental though to coop with one of my friends who is getting it.
hmmm....i was going to buy it at first but the demo is all i need :D 30 minute time limit and a quarter or two is good enough for me + You get to climb the highest building in the game!
For those of you who are just getting the game for the halo 3 beta its not a key its built in on the disk so when you go to the crackdown menu it will be there. so have fun trying to take the halo 3 beta and returning crackdown.
I liked the demo, there were some performance issues I didn't care for. I was sad to hear that its so short but I love how its very open ended. I just don't know if I want to buy this right away or give it some time for a price reduction.
Crackdown itself seems too shallow. The game seems, go in, kill sub leaders, then kingpin. Wash, rinse repeat. GTA has MUCH more creative missions then that. And as fun as jumping around it, it's not THAT fun. Now Spiderman 2 and swinging around is fun. And Spiderman 2 has much bigger buildings then Crackdown.

That's why they packed the H3 beta with it. Give it to a game that can't stand on it's own right?

Cause the game sucks. Run in, use lame targeting to kill dozens of generic clone npc's, kill stronger npc, wash rinse, repeat.
Saving my money for other games. Maybe i'll pick it up when it's cheaper. Unless there's a multiplayer in a game that I want to play on LIVE, I usually put off buying new games.
I loved the demo so I am definitely getting this. I almost managed to get on the very top of the Agency building but my demo timer ran out :(G4mbl3
The thing is. The Demo is pretty much the complete game. You did everything you're going to do in the actual game, in the demo. You're gonna gonna repeat it a lot more in the actual game.
when you play the demo you love it becaue its free but i bet half the reactions on this board 20th will be
" I paided 60 dollars for this!"

Exactly. I want the demo, but if they gave it to a decent game, It'd be a no brainer. I don't wanna drop 60 bucks for a beta. And who knows how long it'll last ya know? Crackdown is lame.
